7/03:
Woke up and walked to the train station in the pouring rain at four o’clock in the morning.
As the train traveled from South to North of Germany at full speed, it's a good sunny day in Cologne, where the tallest church in Europe is right outside the train station.
I slept so well that I totally didn’t hear the kind reminder by the train conductor who came to our cabinet to wake us up but was sent away by Cheng..............yeah so I was waken up like 2 minutes before the train departed from Ulm and I ended up leaving my glasses on the train.......that’s really not the ideal kind of German conversation content I want to practice = =
I just took a shower and then it’s time for the morning class on Monday, during which of course I felt super tired.
We said about getting up early to watch the sunrise last night; yeah..........just saying since we left the room like 9am.......:P
It’s still tiring to climb all the stairs uphill......... especially when those aggressive souvenir sellers kept on bothering us from enjoying the nice view.
Originally we planed to visit two historical buildings but gave up at the entrance due to the entrance fee which was kind of expensive so we turned to Notre Dame De Paris, probably the most famous church in Paris, while there seemed to be some kind of ceremony going on so we weren’t able to get in.
6/25:
Cheng didn’t book the hotel as promised but went to Sonafe, the school festival without telling me...........that is very “Cheng,” a verb we developed in this summer program :P
And in the morning we missed the first bus at five o’clock so we had no choice but to walk to Paris..........I mean, walk to the train station to take the train to Paris :P
6/19:
Woke up around two o’clock since Tiago, one of the Brazilian in the program brought a girl back from the night club and would like to “use” the room so I was asked to move to the other room.......I must be either too nice or simply too tired to move = =
And I was waken up AGAIN as other people came back from clubbing..............okay I’ll just wake up......but the poor breakfast from the hostel cost two euro while it’s far from delicious....okay.......it’s a strong reminder that I’m still in Europe! :P
6/18:
Woke up at three midnight for the LAST NBA game this season.
The comeback of the Lakers is exciting and amazing, while I almost overslept for our trip to Prague, luckily I didn't since our departure time was 11 o'clock, not so early.
6/13:
We woke up early and took a train to Postdam, where Königreich Preußen(Kingdom of Prussia), the once strongest empire in Europe, built most of its palaces.
06/06
We decided to go to Neuschwanstein (new swam castle in German) on the returning train last night so I woke up really early this morning.
I missed a trolley so I thought maybe walking will be faster and I ended up getting lost a little bit; luckily the tallest church in Europe helps in finding directions every time so I made it just in time while two people seem to be still sleeping........whatever~”~
6/04:
We have no class on Friday in this summer program and today we went to Blaubeuren, a near by small town, for a little hiking. Well, we heard it was a little one before we went.......= =
