7/03:
Woke up and walked to the train station in the pouring rain at four o’clock in the morning.

As the train traveled from South to North of Germany at full speed, it's a good sunny day in Cologne, where the tallest church in Europe is right outside the train station.

But Cologne not the topic today so I hopped on another train after taking some pictures.

I arrived at Bonn, the hometown of Beethoven, the famous German musician while what surprised me first as soon as I walked out the train station was not the beautiful music from him but a guy walking two meters above ground!

In addition to the museum of Beethoven and some kind of activity on the square, Bonn is also where the factory of the famous shoes brand Birkenstock locates, which is the main reason why the Taiwanese girl I met in London and her friends decided to meet here today.

The Birkenstock factory is at the other side of the river so we had to pay and take a boat first. But the factory shop is extremely big with almost all kinds of shoes.

Though it’s a relative expensive brand, their shoes is truly comfortable. I couldn't imagine a pair of slippers would cost more than 40 euros.....while I just couldn't settle back to my original set after trying it on; it's simply so comfortable!

On the return boat, I almost jumped into the river since the tax return form was blown out from my hand while it actually worth less than 5 euros......:P

We were truly lucky that the pouring rain started when we got onto the train and stopped right after we arrived back at Cologne in the afternoon to watch the world cup game between Germany and Argentina.

There seemed to be something wrong with the Cologne church but there's no time to care about it since the most important thing now is to find a place to watch the ball game while most of the bars are already full!

So we ended up at a small bar whose air-conditioner wasn't working well so it was super hot: just like the game!!

Originally it was expected to be a close a tough match for Germany but it turned out to be a 4:0 sweep!

And the city just went wild to celebrate this triumph: some people jumped into the water fountain and there was even music played in the train station while I couldn't find my water bottle :(

Though I know it would be fun to explore Cologne with these girls, I gotta rush for the train to the Netherlands!

The wild atmosphere continues on the ICE to Holland: a man and a woman were practicing their flighting skills......but it's my first time sitting in the first cabinet, right behind the pilot seat.

The glass will turn opaque when the training is running; so cool!

But the train was delayed for more than two hours...........it even stopped at railroad cross after we left Germany in Holland......:S

When I tried to ask the pilot for further information, all I got was a bad joking answer; it's really not funny when it's my first time to the Netherlands and I can't understand Dutch at all!!

Luckily that fighting girl was Dutch and was really kind to help so I ended up arriving at Delft two hours than scheduled.

Thanks sooooooooooooooooo much for my friend studying here would kindly pick me up from the train station at midnight and let me stay at her place tonight.

Yeah, she's a beautiful girl and we're gonna sleep in the same room tonight...................................

But I fell asleep immediately after taking shower; simply played to hard today I guess :P

Bonn,

看起來是個shopping的好地方呢;

結果原本以為會是場苦戰的德國VS阿根廷居然是大快人心的打爆比賽;
