Nobu and his friends arrived Taiwan this afternoon.
He's one of the most hospitable Japanese host during the JLC program two weeks ago so now it's my turn to host him back!
Since they booked the plane ticket and hotel together, we don't have to go to the airport to pick them up.
I went home first and brought the dessert from my mom to their hotel to feed them.
We had the dessert at the lobby and Nobu gave me the cookies I asked him to bring from Japan.
I tried this cookie just couple of days ago when my sister asked me to bring them back after my Tokyo trip.
It's really not bad.
Believe it or not, there was even a woman asking me where to buy this cookie in Taiwan when we were taking the MRT to Taipei 101!
I don't think the cookie is really "so" delicious but it seems that it has magic power toward some women....
Nobu and his friends also knew noting about the cookie before.
OK, maybe it's the expert's snack. :P
Since Nobu arrived late then we expected, we only have 40 minutes to visit Taipei 101 before it closed.
What a rush but we made it just in time!
Then we went to the night market near my place- people are starving!
We had lots of delicious Taiwanese food there and went to the park near the river, where lots of people are BBQing since it's the most popular activity in Moon festival recently.

I went visiting my relatives today instead of going to Jiu-fang with Nobu today.
There's no BBQ this year....which made me very sad so I spent most of the time sleeping today because my neck hurts.
But the cookie again won everyone's praise! :P

Today is city tour~
We brought Nobu to Long-shan temple this morning to see some traditional parts of Taiwan.
I was late so when I arrived they were in front of the last satue in the temple- the god of love.
Though there seemed to be a misunderstanding, but they all took a red line which will bring good relationship in Chinese's custom. I wonder if that would work~! :P
And they bought lots of gizmos, something like 御守 that are said to be able to bring good luck.
Then we went to a memorial hall; it's the history and politics part of TLC program! :P
We also saw the supersedure performance by the guards- It has really been a long while since the last time I visited.
Again they bought lots of souvenirs here.
Now I can understand why our government always want to promote tourism!
Our lunch today is the most famous Taiwanese cuisine- soup dumpling.
It's really delicious~!
After lunch we went to Taipei main station and walked around the President's office and the memorial park of 228.
Then we went to the temple of Confucious, a very famous philosopher and teacher in ancient China.
I bought lots of postcards here; they are so cheap but beautiful. :)
We went to the massage store after walking all day.
I didn't give it a try due to my limited budget and my being afraid of it.
It looks itchy and painful sometimes. :P
So people like me went to the arcade center near by to play some games.
We played baseball game and bull riding; they are so much fun!!
But the bull riding game made my body aching...........maybe I need to go to the massage store now. :P
We had our dinner tonight at the very restaurant which Jem had also been to during her TLC program.
But it's my first time to try this restaurant!
The dishes are delicious and we had a good supper here.
Then we went to the room we booked in NTU.
We're going to have a sleepover here since it's the last night of Nobu's TLC program.
I brought lots of snacks and fruits from home while James bought fried things from the vendor near by and Wen brought beers.
It's really a fun sleepover.
Sadly we don't have a day off due to the upcoming Typhoon nor there would be more people tonight. :(

Today is the last day of Nobu's TLC program.
The room had become a mess after our sleepover last night.
They wore the clothes they bought yesterday and greatly surprised us.
It's like taking a crowd of radicals.........I mean......not many people will wear their National flag on them, right?
However, I'm pretty sure we didn't scare too many people- the rain is so heavy today!!
After buying lots of souvenirs from the souvenir shop in campus, which we're shocked by their shopping ability, we said goodbye to them and called a taxi for them to return to their hotel; the travel agency will take them to the airport.
It's the end of Nobu's TLC program.
Hope he had known more about Taiwan enjoyed it during the past few days.
