It seems that I'm actually more excited than I had expected.

I just got up before six in the morning despite I slept less than four hours today.

Maybe it's because I got much rest on the plane yesterday.

And Chris go through the outside of the windows (my room is just next to the street, which I can just view outside but when @ night the streetlamp would be an annoying thing to keep one from sleeping.)

It seems that some people wake up early today!

I decided to go to the restaurant early today so see everyone.

But only host Xxavier was there, so we had breakfast together and chatted a little bit for a while until other studnets came. (After asking them, I knew that they went exploring the campus this morning. It seems that everyone just wakes up so early today-excited!!)

This is my breakfast today.

Basically food here is the caferteria in the dormitory Alondra.

So you may take whatever you want.

And here we need a meal card to din.

But you only have to slide the card the first time for each meal, after that you can just get in and take whatever you want- unlimited.

Another trust, or honor rule here.

They believe you to be honest and meanwhile set up a rather strict fine for people who violate it.

And after breakfast, it was time for Taiwanese students break ice game- the big wind blow.

And of course the name-memorizing game.

And it's also the first time to meet my host, Nguyen pham, who's Vietnam American.

She's a beautiful, warm and hospitable person.

And every member in my host group seems nice as well.

I'm looking forward to becoming their friends and knowing them more!!

Then we went to the lecture hall to listen to the presentation by Mr. Omen, which is about the introduction of this ALC program.

And at the end there was a listening test.

It's not very hard, but I got some trouble.

It was not because I don't know what he said, instead, it was because that I don't know what he want us to choose.......it's a matter of understanding the meaning rather than understand the vocabularies....

What's more, it's also hard for me to keep focusing on it.....

I'm not good at focusing.....XD

Then it's the lunch time.

Still American food.

But for the picture information, I can't tell the difference between the three meals here...XD

It's kind of dizzy, though.

And it's good at quantity while not that good in quality....

It's about eating as much as you can, rather than delicious food...

So I just had a little bit and went back to the lecture hall again to do the interview, which will also decide which English class section we're going to.

My interviewer is John, actually it's not that kind of formal interview.

He just asked a few questions- EASY.

After that I went back to the dormitory to set up my computer net settings.

We had some trouble here since in order to use Internet here, we have to do some computer seetings.

which of course is being taught in English.... and the program was also written in English as well.

And I helped many Taiwanese students after realizing the procedure.

Well....there's something wrong here...

Since that nowadays in Taiwan, there's a new meaning of the word "good guy" to describe boys who help girls a lot but finally found that there were simply something like a tool to the girls he likes.

Oh mine.... why did I fly over the ocean to do the good guy things...? XD

And I broke my nail when I was setting others' computers.....

hmm..... kind of stupid!

And before dinner, the founder of VIA, Mr.Dwight, had a short talk with us and had dinner with us together.

but I don't have a picture since I really eat little and I wonder if it's the remain of lunch....

After dinner was the first host group meeting, the first time that every member in our group gathered together.

5 Taiwanese, three Japanese and two Korean students.

in addition to another break ice game, we also have a little game that is to draw a picture of you.

So I drew everything that had an effect on me.

And we found that it's already nine o'clock after the game, which meant that the musical for free in the memorial church had already ended.

I was about to go back to my room, but I heard that there are some people who went playing basketball.

Despite I got a little wound on my nail, I still went took a look.

It was mainly Jerm's group but lots of people joinedm just like me.

And after playing basketball, Jerm suggested a midnight campus tour.

Having nothing to do, I kept joining them.

So we went around the campus midnight.

And it was a little bit scary......and it's the first time to witness Jerm's ability to get lost.....

And we watched stars on the grass, which is called the Oval.

And we started to tell ghost stories, which seems to be the international culture.....

And I found that some famous ghost stories are simply known worldwide.

And when Jerm asked that if anyone wanted to play seek and hike after those scary stories, everyone simply replies "no"

But actually I was kind of expecting it.....XD

then we just headed back to the dorm, and we pass through the church and the sculpture[actually a grave, too]

So it was another ghost story telling time.......

And after that I just headed back to my room sleeping.
