Woke up early even though going to bed late; it's the fall break atmosphere going on!

即使昨天有點晚睡今天居然還是頗早起，厲害。

Had new guests for lunch today; room 304 is becoming the EPI restaurant @Cliff now....:S

中午又有新人來蹭飯，我家快變EPI餐館@Cliff了@@"

What pisses a cook most would definitely be some unexpected guests who left early…..



而最令人生氣的莫過於臨時加煮了許多東西但來的人又沒有想像中的多.......算了反正多的帶便當=ˇ=

Drove an EPI student’s Mustang Convertible to rent another car in the afternoon; my very first experience on a “monster”, which spins out just when I was just releasing the break.

下午去租車，試開了敞篷野馬，有種無法駕馭的感覺，厲害

In order to save the insurance fee, Jarod was assigned to be the nominal driver today and due to the occupancy of all smaller vehicles, we got a free upgrade into a mini van that can accommodate 7 people!



Jarod的免費升級居然是七人座，美國真的是個對年長者比較好的地方........XD

Accompanying Jarod and other EPI students to take the drivers’ license test and test drove a Porsche 928; Students from China are really RICH!



下午去陪考駕照順便體驗保時捷928，大陸人確實是有錢阿....(暈)

Bought a bottle of Baileys after having noodle as dinner; soon regretted yet the liquid store is closed after 7pm.

吃飯都不找的....還是自己煮個麵卡實在...，

買了瓶40元的奶酒，但想想那可能不是我要的生活，想拿去退不過超過七點了，明早再戰，

Since we booked the van for the whole weekend, I took advantage of it and went to Starbucks to collect more points; so sad the refill doesn’t accumulate points…

去買個星巴克，只是發現續杯好像不能積點.....真會騙錢，

As parking near the State fair place is expensive, I put them down and went grocery shopping at Walmart.

變身司機送人去夜市後去Walmart買菜。

10/22

Woke up at nine despite my body was aching and complaining while the boys in room 312 were still sleeping, so Jarrod, Lily and I started our journey in search of Dunkin donuts, after my getting Starbucks and collecting the points first of course.

還是依樣超準時的九點多起床，雖然腰有點酸不過自己都覺得自己很厲害。

312似乎全體陣亡，於是三個人出發先買了星巴克後開始尋找Dunkin donuts之旅

We drove a long way and finally found it for our late breakfast.

Got noodles from the Chinese grocery store and cooked it for lunch.

回程去中國店小買一下後回家吃點麵午餐。

There’s an Oktoberfest going on at Lexington this afternoon with a much smaller tent the original one in Munich; still a good atmosphere for this German traditional festival with the famous German beer and food with acceptable price.



下午前進啤酒節，原本以為會很盛大結果只是一個停車場裡面的帳篷....不過德國酸菜是蠻經典的....總之一餐六塊錢應該算是可接受啦.....

Despite we didn’t try all five flavors of beer they have today, the alcohol did put effect on me that I really can’t join the drinking game to finish our beer.



啤酒節當然不能不嚐嚐啤酒，結果似乎後勁不弱，即使最後沒試到全部五種酒卻得要靠玩遊戲才能把啤酒消化完畢。

Went to a Chinese buffet restaurant while I didn’t feel hungry at all so I only drank some soft drinks.

回家去中式自助餐，不過沒什麼胃口那喝喝飲料就好。

My original plan was to go to bed early and start my studying plan tomorrow yet a call at night totally messed it up: I decided to join the trip to Scarowind after taking care of someone in the bar….

晚上原本要來早早睡結果先被找去酒吧關切人，又臨時決定一起衝一發Scarowind，

Felt like dying but still woke up early; that’s called keeping the holiday mode on!

很想死，不過還是早起了

Again got a coffee from Starbucks first.

Cooked dumplings before leaving but they all sticked together….= =

Despite the ugly looking they presented, the dumplings did taste good.



去星巴克買杯咖啡先，出門前想快速煮個午餐但水餃全部都黏在一起是哪招.....= =?

雖然樣子很醜不過還不錯吃，

Since I am a non-smoking person, we decided to let Brian go sit in the smoking car…thank you for cooperation! :P

因為我不抽菸所以到冰冰家後把Brian貢獻座位祭品前往夏洛特，

Went Go Kart racing first yet it’s again a matter of luckiness since the performance of the vehicle decides everything.

Go Kart又是PK誰選車的運氣好，

There were less people compared to last year when I visited so the time we spent lining up has been decreased.

However, we ended up playing less rides since some girls kept rejecting rides and some people took every opportunity to smoke……not fun enough for me :(



晚上再度來到Scarowind，今天人比去年來的時候少，

隊不用排這麼久只是女生很孬又有一堆人要抽菸，雖然有多玩一樣躺著的設施但最後比去年玩的還要少，

總覺得不夠盡興。最後原本要再躺一次結果設施居然壞了，

Met Andy and his girlfriends, well female friends as he claimed; whatever…I’ll just enjoy the turkey legs.

走出來遇到Andy與他的朋友。吃吃火雞腿比較實在，

My first time sitting at the back seat this weekend; not as comfortable as in the front…

當乘客坐車回家只是後座原來有點小...，

All in all, thanks Jarod for renting this mini van and being our driver for the day.

感謝Jarod先是租到了這台大車今天又一路司機，

Two o’clock in the morning when arriving home; time to sleep!

回到家兩點多了趕快洗個澡來睡嚕。

Quite a pleasant break experiencing the EPI life style………what to do with my endangered research then? :S
