Woke up early in the morning despite the little rest I took in the previous days; is there anything wrong with me?
Apparently NOT as I still felt sleepy in class after taking a nap for more than an hour; I wouldn’t say it’s resulted from the professor of course ;p

Lots of exams and homework due this week; time to study!
這禮拜一堆考試作業，回家趕快念一下書
Yet the motivation is totally gone after the stomach is full so I went watching the Cantonese version of a movie I watched before; the original version is much better!
真的是吃飽了就沒有念書的動力，到312看了一下原版的豬扒大聯盟，
還是廣東話比較好笑而且台灣也剪太多了吧....回家一不小心就睡著了....

Still didn’t feel like studying after waking up in the morning.
Had some trouble checking class and went checking my SSN issue at noon.
早上起床還是好沒幹勁...點名不太順，喝完咖啡後順多了，
中午下班後還要去找老闆的老闆，阿SSN就沒來我有什麼辦法~"~
Cooked noodle for lunch and took a nap at home.
Went to the class too early; the structure analysis review session today is awesome; I don’t know if I should give credit to the professor or my waste of time back in NTU.
回家快速煮麵睡午覺，記錯上課時間結果太早趕去教室於是又浪費了一下時間，
不過今天的結構分析教授講的我居然有點印象，不知道該歸功於當年是亂背的還是這個教授真的很厲害....?
Jarod called for a pizza party; quickly grabbed some and ran! :P
Went to the football court, completed another hit and run with a tower.
回家Jarod打電話來通知有Pizza可蹭，過去拿了就跑，到足球場也是拿了毛巾就跑，
Spent two hours teaching English grammar before studying…..maybe I should have written a book for that!
只是還沒開始念書卻花了兩個小時教英文文法.......是不是該來寫本工程師英文公式呢....?
Finally turned the study mode on after 9 p.m and continued all the way until one in the morning.
9點過後終於有點動力念書...一路念到一點在煮麵來吃，兩點了該來休息一下，明早早起繼續奮鬥!!

Successfully woke up around six and started studying after taking a morning shower.
半成功的六點多起床(以後乾脆都設這個時間起床好了....)

There’s a firearm company doing campus recruiting tonight; quite a way to make themselves justice through their image ad and most importantly the free Moe’s they provide!
晚上有軍火商演講，感覺很正義還能拍形象廣告的大概也只有美國軍火商了....，不過重點是人家請吃的是MOE’S........厲害
My iPad kills my time easily that it might kill me some day…:o

Went to the review session by my professor after nap; normal.
Studied a little bit in the gym before bowling time; still one game only yet no friends made this year!
睡完午覺去上老闆的複習課，還算可以，之後到體育館假掰念書一下，
念了一下書去打保齡球，也是一場就結束(真的要學會怎麼操作機器才行....)，
Studied a little bit in the gym then went home to cook.
I hate roommates that don’t do their dishes!
回到圖書館稍微念一下書回家煮排骨湯 :)

Overslept in the morning and woke up finding terrible smell in the room……there seems to be a curse ending the honey mood between my roommate and me when fall break comes……I’m definitely moving out when semester ends so whatever….~”~
賴床....起床家裡到處又是恐怖的印度人臭味......我跟室友的蜜月期只能到秋假就對了= =?
反正快要搬走了，就忍耐一下好了....~"~
Overslept in the morning so giving up the original SSN plan; the free lunch @CCFI isn’t that delicious either but whatever goes free is the best!
睡過頭放棄早上去弄SSN的計畫，本周CCFI的免費午餐也不怎麼樣...
The forum this week is about railroad so I decided to go check it out yet it turned out to be someone speaking really fast and most importantly, yes sir I do want to serve in the rail industry but I’m not American so it ended up to be another waste of time.
既然本週的講座是有關軌道的就難得去聽聽看好了，結果遇到機關槍簡報王，
似乎很想找人去軌道產業上班，我是很想阿可是國籍不對 :(，總之感覺是白花了一個小時。
Went to the homeland security office for SSN issue but arrived there late 3 minutes late and was locked out.
Should the transportation is more convenient, or the school bus being on time, or they close a little bit earlier yet definitely should come earlier instead of going to Starbucks first.
下午到SSN辦公室剛好遲到三分鐘就進不去，
可以怪他們三點就關門太懶惰，可以怪這裡沒有大眾運輸太不方便，也可以怪學校公車不準時，
但不如怪自己為什麼要拖拖拉拉還先去星巴克........。
Walking all the way back and checked out the city library with lots of computers seats available; the resources of this country is more than rich and abundant!
都出來了就順便去市立圖書館看看，一大堆的電腦&空座位，這個國家的資源真的是多的.........很讓人羨慕，
Got another cup of Starbucks on the way home; the chilly winds makes me think of the time with another hand in mine yet I enjoyed the freedom as well.
With two cups of coffee today, it makes sense why I can barely fall asleep tonight; time to study then!
回家的路上再買杯星巴克，一個人有點冷，不過也挺自由，還得繼續學著跟自己相處才行。
回家煮完麵不知道為什麼接出了一道白光.......= =，原本想來睡一下居然睡不著，看樣子咖啡因有出來了......快來念一下書!!
剛好看到棒球世界大賽的贏球"之後"....還是加油念書吧!!

Finally being able to sleep after asking Poddar to turn his music down.
Woke up at five in the morning, taking a shower and Corey, who was so kind to give me a ride today showed up at the parking lot 5 minutes early!
在抗議印度音樂太吵後終於能夠安心睡覺，雖然三點起來一下不過順利睡到五點在起床洗澡感覺不錯，
Corey居然提早五分鐘出現也太驚人。
Leaving home at 5:40, so early that the sky is still dark and had breakfast at Waffle house:
I like the hash brown there yet spending almost $10 for breakfast is definitely beyond my expectation.
於是五點40天還沒亮就出門，來到了Waffle house，煎的薯鬆餅還不錯，雖然很豐盛，只是早餐就花了快10元還是有點心痛....，
The sky is still dark and it was raining cats and dogs when we arrived at the exam course and we waited outside in the chilly wind for almost half an hour before entering….T__T
到了考場天還是沒亮而且還下起了傾盆大雨，在超冷的溫度下居然在外面罰站了快半小時才能進場.....太令人傷心T_T
It’s definitely not my day today that my calculator was claimed to be unauthorized; it’s actually the same model, just having different number as it’s sold in Taiwan……luckily my partners got me covered!
更令人傻眼的是我的計算機居然不能用........明明就長的一樣阿....是要我自己變造一下編號還是怎樣，在台灣買卡西歐計算機臭了嗎~~~?
Took the general test in the morning; I might have done better before entering college……what a waste!
早上考共同科目，感覺大學念了六年程度比進大學前更差了........是大學太混了嗎.........?囧
My control of time was far from acceptable as I didn’t leave enough time to fill out the questions I didn’t even have time to view.
而且時間掌握不好，最後居然沒猜完實在是太傷了......
Went to Chicken & Flags, another fast restaurant for lunch; I love their hash brown!
Instead of feeling sleepy, I felt energetic in the exam in the afternoon; hope I can pass this FE exam!
中午去吃另一家速食店(Chicken &flags? )，炸的薯格格也挺不錯，
原本以為吃飽下午會想睡覺沒想到看到考卷覺得好像不太難(到底是我有公式我超強還是自我感覺良好!?)
但如果下午土木部分過了早上通識沒過應該會很捶心肝吧..........不過又想了一想......搞不好連成績單都收不到 :P

So it’s 17:30 already when I arrived home; that is 12 hours outside with 8 hours of exam in between; how come I don’t feel like sleeping still!?

Originally I was thinking about going to EPI students’ Halloween party but gave up this idea after seeing the Clumsy and tight pocket monster suit a Japanese student is wearing……I’ll go to the movie “Terrible Boss” instead even though it’s only 3 degree outside!
晚上原本要去亂入萬聖節派對，看了看日本人辦的超大隻緊身皮卡丘..........不舒服.......還是做做自己的事情等等去看個電影好了 :P
晚上會降到三度是哪招•••••••？

The sad result of the previous exam had been revealed and another homework announced totally poured Monday blue on me……
上次的考試砸了....然後又多一個功課....老闆真的是很會帶來Monday blue的人...

雖然臨時報了一下佛腳，但下午的考試總有一種不踏實的感覺.........
I realized that I didn’t hand in the report for my part time job today, which implies I won’t be able to get my salary today….luckily there’s only one working hour today.
考完試才發現今天忘記交打工報告了....，也就是說今天做白工了...好險今天只有一堂課@@
Went grocery shopping at Walmart and had a taste of my roommate’s cuisine; nice!
傍晚去Walmart買完菜偷吃一下印度人的菜，今天煮得挺合口味的，讚!
The dance class was canceled since we didn’t have enough people….:S
晚上的跳舞課居然因為人太少所以取消......囧
Got a call requesting for food from the people at a Halloween party; quite demanding yet I fulfilled their needs eventually……
回家的路上接到電話居然有萬聖節派對完的人要我回來煮飯........太超過啦........結果我還真的回來煮了...有沒有這麼NICE....
Lots of Halloween pictures on FB; I wonder why Taiwanese people also started celebrating this festival…..

Had some other experiences……yet the first is still the best!
晨間運動..........感覺契合度沒有很好....
Kept falling asleep during the part time job; it’s called burning the candles at both ends.
上班狂打瞌睡，看樣子這樣日夜操夜也操真的不行.....，
Took the school bus and apparently because it’s Tuesday noon, I soon got the SSN application done; hope I can receive it soon.
搭一段學校公車+禮拜二中午所以超快就破關SSN，希望這次可以順利收到卡片....。
Not only did I got a Starbucks coffee but also three tickets for the concert of Taylor, which was a sold out but some reserved tickets had just been released today!
回去的路上不但買了一杯星巴克還順便去買了Taylor Swift的演唱會票，剛好今天是保留票的發售日，所以就一口氣買了三張，不知道該算運氣好還是不好.....:S
The thinking globally section in the afternoon was canceled.
Went to the USC ideal contest in the evening; only five groups attended but it’s still a good show.
下午的Thinking Globally被放鳥，美國人，不意外
傍晚去聽個USC偶像，居然只有五組人參賽....幾乎快人人有獎了不過看臭屁的美國男什麼都沒得到還是小小的爽了一下....:P

The glass bottle of soy sauce fell down from the shelve and broke itself, causing my tons of trouble cleaning it up when I open the door of the fridge.

Overslept in the morning that I was 5 mins late for class; not much difference though as the professor was simply reading the textbook……it’s really not helpful for the homework next week, let alone the midterm I messed up last time.
超賴床...上課遲到五分鐘，但其實沒什麼差....老師根本就只是在翻書....
想到上次考爛的期中考&下週要交的作業.....好想打爆它的頭~"~

Went battle of the bands for a break, liked the first band pretty much yet the second band is totally a mess after they took years in setting up their instruments; I’ll just return to the library and my studying pace then.
去聽了一下樂團大戰，第一個團還不錯但換樂器換了超久的第二個團一整個就是失敗.....
我還是去圖書館好了，今晚的念書效率還不差，算算念了超過四個小時感覺不錯，回家煮宵夜吧!

Originally I planned to do a hit and run for the free lunch yet I met Poppy and chatted longer than expected and therefore missed the lecture of Value Engineering; not very worthy I know…..
中午先去蹭飯，原本要快速閃人的結果遇到Poppy就聊了一下，錯過了價值工程，這樣感覺不是很有價值....。
The homework I spent more than an hour doing yesterday turned out to be incorrect…that frustrates me a lot….:(
下午發現昨天努力了一個多小時的功課居然做錯了.....super sad :(
Gave out a bed box, which took me lots of time and messed up both my basketball and studying plan.
回家把床架送人，是說跟人要東西這麼麻煩的不常見.....今晚的打球&念書計畫都Fail了，不爽= =
Went to South Carolina after dark where food and souvenirs are provided.
Despite I didn’t sign up in time for the game, one totally has nothing to complain about such free activities.
晚上去南卡之晚有食物可以吃，還有兩種不錯的紀念品，雖然沒玩到丟沙包比賽但什麼都免費就是個讚，
When the old lover gets in a new relationship, leave away from them would be the best choice.

Woke up in the morning and went to Starbucks to get a second-handed iPod touch 4 with 64GB storage space after tortured by the previous 8GB one from Sandy.
早上起床去星巴克交易了64gb的IPT4，
The Retina display is amazing yet the CPU and memory is really out of fashion considering it’s being OLD in this information-exploding era, especially comparing the battery life with my new iPad2 so it kind of feels like buying a camera that can go online with 200 bucks!
雖然螢幕解析度很高但是好小....而且CPU、記憶體真的有差，再算算電池....感覺花兩百鎂買了台相機......
可能真的是人心不足蛇吞象吧...總之買都買了就留著用吧，
Spent lots of time setting it up though it’s not my first smart device and again missed the registration deadline for the lottery of American citizenship.
只是今天又因此花了好多時間在設定....:(
然後又錯過了美簽樂透的報名deadline........:(
But for the SSN card received today, I totally can’t find anything meaningful I did for the day; just like the football team being blown out today.
今天就是一整天的瞎混+最後的白光，一件事情自己知道不好卻又停不下來叫可悲........
收到SSN卡應該是今天唯一的收穫....就跟學校的橄欖球輸球一樣.....廢
As the day light saving hours come to an end today, there’s an extra hour, in total of 25 hours.

The early alarm doesn’t work at all and I still didn’t feel like writing the homework after waking up at 7:30 in the morning while the teacher kept torturing me with his teaching style.

Despite the heart-braking loss last Saturday, the home coming weekend still goes on and the free Buffalo wings totally lighted up the activity!
雖然週六輸球本賽季幾乎結束不過本周是傳說中的回家周，
因此中午還是到活動中心前蹭個飯，有Bufflao Wings感覺挺不賴的，
The new moves in the Latin class is tough, especially when there’s not enough girls in class.
下午&晚上感覺都混掉了，跳舞新學的動作有點不順而且班上缺乏女生.....

點名完回家的路上原本想去看看今天的公雞回家周是什麼活動，結果來到現場只看到一堆罐子....果然期望越大失望越大.....:(
Toasted the bread for lunch before heading to the two thinking globally events in the afternoon; just need to learn how to reject requests from girls…..
烤個吐司就出門，今天下午有兩場Thinking Globally，都是因為上周擋不住美女的請求....
Took some pictures on the street in the evening; iPod is still far from being an acceptable camera; let’s wait for iPhone5.
黃昏前在路上拍拍照，不過看樣子Ipod的相機果然還是不行阿.....繼續等Iphone5吧
Went to a lecture where a public servant in SC transportation bureau shares his experiences; it sounds the EXCELLENT welfare of public servants is universal, though it seems even less likely I could be one of them, especially in the States.
As there’s going to be extra points and Subway sandwiches for joining this lecture, it’s totally worthwhile; missing the election of Prince and Princess of USC seems not a big deal now.
結 束後去聽南卡交通局工務員的經驗分享，看樣子美國的公務員也挺爽的......
雖然這輩子應該是不會來美國當公務員了不過作業有加分又有免費subway 我想是ok的啦....
結束後完全忘記晚上有南卡公主王子選拔....
The expectation of high efficiency performed in the computer lab somehow turned into a Mexican Comedian performance……still better than staying at home watching porn I believe. :P
結果到電腦教室原本應該是要很有效率的做事的結果不知道為什麼看起了墨西哥胖子喜劇 演員.......囧
不過至少在公眾場所不會出現白光，還是多待在外面吧~

Was challenged as I didn’t go through the guidebook of the software yesterday…planned to study under the sunshine but in vain.
Thought about going to the home coming activity but decided to put more attention on homework in the computer lab instead.
昨天沒有先把軟體教學看完今天早上就被電了，
下午原本想到外面趁著陽光念個書不過失敗了，傍晚很墮落的在研究室放槍...
原本還要再去看回家週的活動，不過 覺得這樣也未免太混所以決定到電腦教室做作業。今晚的效率還不錯，

做完作業來整理照片讓自己心情很好，今天網誌終於更新到去年來南卡的第一天，回應很不錯 就是個Good，回家煮個麵睡前又配個白光.....

差點睡過頭，不過剛好趕上點名頗為Lucky，中午蹭飯前去星巴克得到最後一顆星星，期待收到卡片~!
Went to the movies tonight; friends with benefit wasn’t as great as expected; just another Hollywood style movie.
上完跳舞課去看電影，黑人片好長出來剛好接上排第二片的隊伍，又錯過了一個回家週活動，
然後 Friends with Benefit感覺也普普，就只是偷渡很多色情橋段，然後劇情還是一樣的好萊鎢....
Had noodle for night snacks; time to sleep again!

Didn’t sleep really late last night and I did hear the alarm sound in the morning but I simply slept all the way until noon; maybe I shouldn’t sleep at all on Thursday nights. :P
明明昨天一點半就睡了，今早鬧鐘響也有聽到只是賴床又睡到中午......乾脆以後禮拜四晚上不要睡好了....
With a sensational title “stepping outside the comfort zone of Civil Engineering,” there was actually nothing else but soil mechanics.
Not what I expected at all so I soon left for the free meal; it’s a pizza madness today!
中午準時到講座課報到，只是下了這麼厲害的 標題"踏出土木工程的舒適圈"結果原來是要講土力的東西........
當下有種被騙的感覺....於是東西拿了就去蹭飯了，今天是Pizza吃到飽又發現了隔壁房的妹仔原來只是搬到樓上去，
只是好像已經有人在守城了再加上現在的情勢........還是安分些吧....:S
Studied under the sunshine outside the library for a while then went to the homecoming parade, which was delayed due to a route change.
在圖書館外的陽光下念了一下書，準時去等Homecoming parade再度被證明是一件很白癡的事情....
遊行隊伍得臨時繞道所以遲到.........規劃的人可以去切腹了吧...= =
Continued studying after the parade; should have brought a jacket that can either bring me warmness or at least be a cushion.
結束後再去當陽光下唸書的孩子，下次還是該帶個外套，就算不冷也可以當墊子....
Skipped the homecoming step show, of which I wasn’t a big fan after last year.
晚上再度放棄了回家週活動:類似踢踏舞的秀，因為去年看了沒有特別喜歡....:P
Went basketball playing after finishing the homework; quite a fun game tonight yet I really need to improve my shooting ability.
匆匆把功課搞定後去體育館打球，今天中午遇到的大陸人是個難得願意打全場的，
其他人的實力也相近今晚打得蠻開心的只是換隊後總是差臨門一腳一場都沒贏過有點可惜....三分球很重要....
回家煮飯、視訊、白光，我確定最後一項應該對情況沒什麼幫助...

Slept until noon and missed the invitation to watch football.
Kept sleeping in the afternoon before heading to the lecture, hosted by a civil engineer that brought me lots of ideas; hope I can find an intern before the military training when I go back to Taiwan!
賴床到快中午....四個未接來電，錯過了到別人家看足球的機會...，下午又繼續昏睡，
起床去吃免費的飯廳講座，講座內容還不錯，結束後又留下來再多問一些問題，稍微有了一個不錯的方向，
不過看樣子土木基本功還是要有一些...另外先上網搜尋一下做做功課吧，目標是當兵前可以找到個實習....
Brought my laptop to the library and studied until 1:30 in the morning; that’s quite some achievement for me yet some students from H.K are still styding…..there’s always some role models to follow!
趁著有幹勁，回家拿了筆電到圖書館，雖然混的時間還是比念書的時間多，不過至少有一些進度，果然應該盡量待在圖書館的!!
一點半電腦沒電了就回家，沒想到香港三人組居然還在努力....果然我還差的遠!!

Woke up early and went to the library despite the studying progress went slow.
The dance class is again much more guys than girls so I’ll just find a place to study yet the brightness of my laptop screen is unwilling to adjust to the sunlight outdoors so I went back to the office.
早起前進圖書館，進度依舊是緩慢的進行中，下午前進了體育館結果跳舞班看來仍舊是男>>女那還是繼續找地方念書好了，
找到一個新的戶外念書景點 但是筆電螢幕的亮度很難調所以最後回到研究室，剛好有人在沒被關在門外，
Studied for a while then fell asleep, waking up with the battery of my laptop being dead, I took a time out back home, cooking my own meal while charging the laptop battery.
念了一下書後就睡著了...結果似乎是睡前設定錯誤於是起床發現筆電沒電了.....囧，只好回家但 是效率就很低落，所以快速的煮個晚餐就趕快出門，
My studying effectiveness wasn’t that good as expected in the library, just like the battery life when running a model.
雖然到了圖書館也沒有好到那裡去但至少確定自己不會做奇怪的事.....跑model好耗電阿...

Woke up early and continued the fight with Netlogo, still frustrated yet Matt saved my ass here so I could hand it in before the deadline.
As to the class, just another hour of BS and another tough homework due in two days; I really don’t see the need to attend this class if it’s not a must.
早起繼續跟Netlogo奮戰，只是自己來還是很卡關，好險Matt情義相挺救我，於是在deadline之前好不容易把作業交了出去，
上課就是一連串的屁 然後又丟下禮拜三截止的作業...........我真的覺得有沒有來上課差別不大，反正上完課了作業還是不會寫....= =
Moreover, the professor wrote me an email just to ask me not to use his computers……WTF? Worried about your computers being over-thinking?
更精采的是還特別寄信來叫我不要用他的電腦......你他媽的是怕你的電腦太累是不是? 幹
I sincerely hope this course wouldn’t bother my scheduled graduation this semester nor I truly might do something crazy….!
相較之下另一堂課的進展順利多了，如果最後不能順利畢業我怕我真的會忍不住租台車來撞他....= =
It’s a bit inconvenient to heat things up without a micro waver.
Originally I just planned to listen to some jokes but decided to sign up for the standup comedy.
發現沒有微波爐其實還是有點不方便....，總之吃吃Oreo後就出門去，原本只是想去聽聽笑話結果一時手癢就簽下去了......
So I quickly started writingmy noteswhile enjoying others’ performance.
Despite some presenters seem to leave early with their supporters, I still gained quite some applause; still have a lotto improve.
趕快開始寫筆記，只是前面的人表演完了就帶著應援團跑了....囧，不過結束後還沒走出活動中心就得到五個讚應該是還可以吧.......自己再看一下影片，還是太結巴了... 還是要早點準備才會比較好，發音有待加強....

Overslept in the morning but still handed in the report.
早上回籠結果就遲到了，好險報告應該是交的出來，
Still don’t know how to deal with the homework after having lunch in the office and I started viewing articles on NTU BBS; not really helpful in solving the problems, even if I went back home in between to do laundry and took a shower while charging my laptop.
下午帶飯到研究室加熱，吃完了以後不知怎麼就開始看BBS，於是一整個下午就過了還是不知道作業怎麼做，晚上吃完飯洗好澡&衣服後筆電也充飽了於是再度前進系館，只是還是不知道怎麼做，發覺這樣要寫出功課根本就是不可能的任務....於是又開始打B.....
Arriving back in my room filled with the smell of laundry powder as I didn’t turn the fan off the whole night.
回到家發現剛剛出門前原來是把電扇對著牆壁吹了整晚.....雖然房間裡都是洗衣粉的味道

Overslept so totally gave up the homework.
With another set of code cramming, the teacher ended the last class with “good luck to your projects”…….why not just say go back and fuck yourselves= =?
賴床了一下所以作業就隨喜吧...
上課又是一串無系統的填鴨程式碼教學....然後就祝我們計畫順利!?

Kept making up for the belated diary on my blog; quite some improvement I’ve made looking back when I was totally fresh on board.
開始補去年剛來美國時的網誌，以前的自己真不是一個蠢字了得....這樣應該算有進步吧...?
Worked pretty hard in the afternoon but then pretty sloppy afterward…..tomorrow will be Thursday, defined as “start of weekend” by me!
下午挺認真的不過傍晚上完課以後就一直混.....明天(禮拜四)開始就是周末了阿!!!! (踹)
But for this annoying professor and his class, I could have started my 18-day thanksgiving break last Wed………….I don’t know where to go for 18 days though as I’ve almost been to everywhere nearby!
回頭再想想，如果不是遇到這機車的老師，我可能上個禮拜三就開始放假了吧.....
不過真有18天的假能去哪我也不知道就是了....看樣子去年是玩太兇了.....
不然就是美東太無聊了(看了看旅遊網站發現我好像真的把能去的地方都去得差不多了....:P)....
看得好累明天還要早起還是先來睡吧...

Another sleepy rainy morning that several students I’m checking skipped the class; wish I could have done the same!
陰雨綿綿的一天...好想賴床.....結果好幾個點名的學生都沒來.....是都在賴床是吧~"~?
Canceled the credit card which I haven’t received after more than two weeks; I really missed the great service in Taiwan…now I only hope I can receive my custom-made Starbucks card before leaving SC.
下午去銀行把還沒收到的信用卡給取消，忘了譙人了，我懷疑他們是故意讓我們等很久來消滅火氣&做出錯誤決定....= =
現在只卑微的希望星巴克卡可以快點來...
Was bothered by the “occupy Wall street” people in the library; totally a wrong place to be in my opinion.
Found it tougher than I thought when it comes to non-tourist part of my diary; glad to see myself improving though.
到圖書館念書結果聽到佔領華爾街抗議....你們被趕出來也不要搞錯地方嘛...
補不是遊記的網誌其實也蠻累的....而且覺得當年的自己真的是好傻好天真(蠢)囧
今天的跳舞課被亂入結果超短超無趣....，回家收拾一下去聽Josh Turner的演唱會，
主唱是可以轉換成超低沉嗓音的葛萊美提名型男，
發現鄉村音樂也蠻high的，感覺像是加上小提琴的Rock & Roll，
最棒的是場地是學校的所以有無線網路那就跟豆豆即時分享一下。
原來Ipod的錄影品質比我的Sony相機還強....可惜錄到一半不能伸縮&鏡頭不夠好....看樣子好手機真的可以取代相機了....!!
The Latin class isn’t so fun today as there’s another teacher coming and introduced another type of dance.
Went to the concert of Josh Turner, a handsome Grammy Nominee that can sing really low in the evening.
So country music sounds like Rock & Roll with violin, still rocks!
Best of all in addition to the high recording ability, I was able to Facetime with Dou and enjoyed the concert together LIVE utilizing the school wifi!
Woke up early in the morning despite the little rest I took in the previous days; is there anything wrong with me?
Apparently NOT as I still felt sleepy in class after taking a nap for more than an hour; I wouldn’t say it’s resulted from the professor of course ;p

Still didn’t feel like studying after waking up in the morning.
Had some trouble checking class and went checking my SSN issue at noon.
早上起床還是好沒幹勁...點名不太順，喝完咖啡後順多了，
中午下班後還要去找老闆的老闆，阿SSN就沒來我有什麼辦法~"~
Cooked noodle for lunch and took a nap at home.
Went to the class too early; the structure analysis review session today is awesome; I don’t know if I should give credit to the professor or my waste of time back in NTU.
回家快速煮麵睡午覺，記錯上課時間結果太早趕去教室於是又浪費了一下時間，
不過今天的結構分析教授講的我居然有點印象，不知道該歸功於當年是亂背的還是這個教授真的很厲害....?
Jarod called for a pizza party; quickly grabbed some and ran! :P
Went to the football court, completed another hit and run with a tower.
回家Jarod打電話來通知有Pizza可蹭，過去拿了就跑，到足球場也是拿了毛巾就跑，
Spent two hours teaching English grammar before studying…..maybe I should have written a book for that!
只是還沒開始念書卻花了兩個小時教英文文法.......是不是該來寫本工程師英文公式呢....?
Finally turned the study mode on after 9 p.m and continued all the way until one in the morning.
9點過後終於有點動力念書...一路念到一點在煮麵來吃，兩點了該來休息一下，明早早起繼續奮鬥!!

Successfully woke up around six and started studying after taking a morning shower.

Overslept in the morning and woke up finding terrible smell in the room……there seems to be a curse ending the honey mood between my roommate and me when fall break comes……I’m definitely moving out when semester ends so whatever….~”~
賴床....起床家裡到處又是恐怖的印度人臭味......我跟室友的蜜月期只能到秋假就對了= =?
反正快要搬走了，就忍耐一下好了....~"~

The forum this week is about railroad so I decided to go check it out yet it turned out to be someone speaking really fast and most importantly, yes sir I do want to serve in the rail industry but I’m not American so it ended up to be another waste of time.
既然本週的講座是有關軌道的就難得去聽聽看好了，結果遇到機關槍簡報王，
似乎很想找人去軌道產業上班，我是很想阿可是國籍不對 :(，總之感覺是白花了一個小時。
Went to the homeland security office for SSN issue but arrived there late 3 minutes late and was locked out.
Should the transportation is more convenient, or the school bus being on time, or they close a little bit earlier yet definitely should come earlier instead of going to Starbucks first.
下午到SSN辦公室剛好遲到三分鐘就進不去，
可以怪他們三點就關門太懶惰，可以怪這裡沒有大眾運輸太不方便，也可以怪學校公車不準時，
但不如怪自己為什麼要拖拖拉拉還先去星巴克........。
Walking all the way back and checked out the city library with lots of computers seats available; the resources of this country is more than rich and abundant!
都出來了就順便去市立圖書館看看，一大堆的電腦&空座位，這個國家的資源真的是多的.........很讓人羨慕，
Got another cup of Starbucks on the way home; the chilly winds makes me think of the time with another hand in mine yet I enjoyed the freedom as well.
With two cups of coffee today, it makes sense why I can barely fall asleep tonight; time to study then!
回家的路上再買杯星巴克，一個人有點冷，不過也挺自由，還得繼續學著跟自己相處才行。
回家煮完麵不知道為什麼接出了一道白光.......= =，原本想來睡一下居然睡不著，看樣子咖啡因有出來了......快來念一下書!!

Finally being able to sleep after asking Poddar to turn his music down.
Woke up at five in the morning, taking a shower and Corey, who was so kind to give me a ride today showed up at the parking lot 5 minutes early!
在抗議印度音樂太吵後終於能夠安心睡覺，雖然三點起來一下不過順利睡到五點在起床洗澡感覺不錯，
Corey居然提早五分鐘出現也太驚人。
Leaving home at 5:40, so early that the sky is still dark and had breakfast at Waffle house:
I like the hash brown there yet spending almost $10 for breakfast is definitely beyond my expectation.
於是五點40天還沒亮就出門，來到了Waffle house，煎的薯鬆餅還不錯，雖然很豐盛，只是早餐就花了快10元還是有點心痛....，
The sky is still dark and it was raining cats and dogs when we arrived at the exam course and we waited outside in the chilly wind for almost half an hour before entering….T__T
到了考場天還是沒亮而且還下起了傾盆大雨，在超冷的溫度下居然在外面罰站了快半小時才能進場.....太令人傷心T_T
It’s definitely not my day today that my calculator was claimed to be unauthorized; it’s actually the same model, just having different number as it’s sold in Taiwan……luckily my partners got me covered!
更令人傻眼的是我的計算機居然不能用........明明就長的一樣阿....是要我自己變造一下編號還是怎樣，在台灣買卡西歐計算機臭了嗎~~~?
Took the general test in the morning; I might have done better before entering college……what a waste!
早上考共同科目，感覺大學念了六年程度比進大學前更差了........是大學太混了嗎.........?囧
My control of time was far from acceptable as I didn’t leave enough time to fill out the questions I didn’t even have time to view.

Went to Chicken & Flags, another fast restaurant for lunch; I love their hash brown!
Instead of feeling sleepy, I felt energetic in the exam in the afternoon; hope I can pass this FE exam!
中午去吃另一家速食店(Chicken &flags? )，炸的薯格格也挺不錯，
原本以為吃飽下午會想睡覺沒想到看到考卷覺得好像不太難(到底是我有公式我超強還是自我感覺良好!?)
但如果下午土木部分過了早上通識沒過應該會很捶心肝吧..........不過又想了一想......搞不好連成績單都收不到 :P

Went grocery shopping at Walmart and had a taste of my roommate’s cuisine; nice!
傍晚去Walmart買完菜偷吃一下印度人的菜，今天煮得挺合口味的，讚!

Got a call requesting for food from the people at a Halloween party; quite demanding yet I fulfilled their needs eventually……
回家的路上接到電話居然有萬聖節派對完的人要我回來煮飯........太超過啦........結果我還真的回來煮了...有沒有這麼NICE....

晨間運動..........感覺契合度沒有很好....
Kept falling asleep during the part time job; it’s called burning the candles at both ends.
上班狂打瞌睡，看樣子這樣日夜操夜也操真的不行.....，
Took the school bus and apparently because it’s Tuesday noon, I soon got the SSN application done; hope I can receive it soon.
搭一段學校公車+禮拜二中午所以超快就破關SSN，希望這次可以順利收到卡片....。
Not only did I got a Starbucks coffee but also three tickets for the concert of Taylor, which was a sold out but some reserved tickets had just been released today!
回去的路上不但買了一杯星巴克還順便去買了Taylor Swift的演唱會票，剛好今天是保留票的發售日，所以就一口氣買了三張，不知道該算運氣好還是不好.....:S
The thinking globally section in the afternoon was canceled.
Went to the USC ideal contest in the evening; only five groups attended but it’s still a good show.
下午的Thinking Globally被放鳥，美國人，不意外
傍晚去聽個USC偶像，居然只有五組人參賽....幾乎快人人有獎了不過看臭屁的美國男什麼都沒得到還是小小的爽了一下....:P

Went battle of the bands for a break, liked the first band pretty much yet the second band is totally a mess after they took years in setting up their instruments; I’ll just return to the library and my studying pace then.
去聽了一下樂團大戰，第一個團還不錯但換樂器換了超久的第二個團一整個就是失敗.....
我還是去圖書館好了，今晚的念書效率還不差，算算念了超過四個小時感覺不錯，回家煮宵夜吧!

中午先去蹭飯，原本要快速閃人的結果遇到Poppy就聊了一下，錯過了價值工程，這樣感覺不是很有價值....。
The homework I spent more than an hour doing yesterday turned out to be incorrect…that frustrates me a lot….:(
下午發現昨天努力了一個多小時的功課居然做錯了.....super sad :(
Gave out a bed box, which took me lots of time and messed up both my basketball and studying plan.
回家把床架送人，是說跟人要東西這麼麻煩的不常見.....今晚的打球&念書計畫都Fail了，不爽= =
Went to South Carolina after dark where food and souvenirs are provided.
Despite I didn’t sign up in time for the game, one totally has nothing to complain about such free activities.
晚上去南卡之晚有食物可以吃，還有兩種不錯的紀念品，雖然沒玩到丟沙包比賽但什麼都免費就是個讚，
When the old lover gets in a new relationship, leave away from them would be the best choice.

Woke up in the morning and went to Starbucks to get a second-handed iPod touch 4 with 64GB storage space after tortured by the previous 8GB one from Sandy.
早上起床去星巴克交易了64gb的IPT4，
The Retina display is amazing yet the CPU and memory is really out of fashion considering it’s being OLD in this information-exploding era, especially comparing the battery life with my new iPad2 so it kind of feels like buying a camera that can go online with 200 bucks!
雖然螢幕解析度很高但是好小....而且CPU、記憶體真的有差，再算算電池....感覺花兩百鎂買了台相機......
可能真的是人心不足蛇吞象吧...總之買都買了就留著用吧，
Spent lots of time setting it up though it’s not my first smart device and again missed the registration deadline for the lottery of American citizenship.
只是今天又因此花了好多時間在設定....:(
然後又錯過了美簽樂透的報名deadline........:(
But for the SSN card received today, I totally can’t find anything meaningful I did for the day; just like the football team being blown out today.
今天就是一整天的瞎混+最後的白光，一件事情自己知道不好卻又停不下來叫可悲........
收到SSN卡應該是今天唯一的收穫....就跟學校的橄欖球輸球一樣.....廢
As the day light saving hours come to an end today, there’s an extra hour, in total of 25 hours.
Watched the baseball game at Taiwan for 3.1 inns and it’s three in the morning again; time to sleep!
有25小時的今天花了一個小時看一下王建民回台灣投球，只是才投3.1局有點短...原本的三點一到又想睡了......反正我不是這麼喜歡棒球....來睡吧 :P

The early alarm doesn’t work at all and I still didn’t feel like writing the homework after waking up at 7:30 in the morning while the teacher kept torturing me with his teaching style.
最早的鬧鐘完全無效....七點半起床後還是不想寫作業.....:(
早上老師持續的用著他非常喜歡的方式教課(折磨)......懶得說了...
Despite the heart-braking loss last Saturday, the home coming weekend still goes on and the free Buffalo wings totally lighted up the activity!
雖然週六輸球本賽季幾乎結束不過本周是傳說中的回家周，
因此中午還是到活動中心前蹭個飯，有Bufflao Wings感覺挺不賴的，
The new moves in the Latin class is tough, especially when there’s not enough girls in class.
下午&晚上感覺都混掉了，跳舞新學的動作有點不順而且班上缺乏女生.....

Check out the home coming event today on the way back from class check but only found some cans…..expect none, lose none!
點名完回家的路上原本想去看看今天的公雞回家周是什麼活動，結果來到現場只看到一堆罐子....果然期望越大失望越大.....:(
Toasted the bread for lunch before heading to the two thinking globally events in the afternoon; just need to learn how to reject requests from girls…..
烤個吐司就出門，今天下午有兩場Thinking Globally，都是因為上周擋不住美女的請求....
Took some pictures on the street in the evening; iPod is still far from being an acceptable camera; let’s wait for iPhone5.
黃昏前在路上拍拍照，不過看樣子Ipod的相機果然還是不行阿.....繼續等Iphone5吧
Went to a lecture where a public servant in SC transportation bureau shares his experiences; it sounds the EXCELLENT welfare of public servants is universal, though it seems even less likely I could be one of them, especially in the States.
As there’s going to be extra points and Subway sandwiches for joining this lecture, it’s totally worthwhile; missing the election of Prince and Princess of USC seems not a big deal now.
結 束後去聽南卡交通局工務員的經驗分享，看樣子美國的公務員也挺爽的......
雖然這輩子應該是不會來美國當公務員了不過作業有加分又有免費subway 我想是ok的啦....
結束後完全忘記晚上有南卡公主王子選拔....
The expectation of high efficiency performed in the computer lab somehow turned into a Mexican Comedian performance……still better than staying at home watching porn I believe. :P
結果到電腦教室原本應該是要很有效率的做事的結果不知道為什麼看起了墨西哥胖子喜劇 演員.......囧
不過至少在公眾場所不會出現白光，還是多待在外面吧~

Was challenged as I didn’t go through the guidebook of the software yesterday…planned to study under the sunshine but in vain.
Thought about going to the home coming activity but decided to put more attention on homework in the computer lab instead.
昨天沒有先把軟體教學看完今天早上就被電了，
下午原本想到外面趁著陽光念個書不過失敗了，傍晚很墮落的在研究室放槍...
原本還要再去看回家週的活動，不過 覺得這樣也未免太混所以決定到電腦教室做作業。今晚的效率還不錯，

做完作業來整理照片讓自己心情很好，今天網誌終於更新到去年來南卡的第一天，回應很不錯 就是個Good，回家煮個麵睡前又配個白光.....

Woke up just in time for the class check and gained the last star at Starbucks right before heading to the free lunch; hope I can get my custom-made golden card soon!
差點睡過頭，不過剛好趕上點名頗為Lucky，中午蹭飯前去星巴克得到最後一顆星星，期待收到卡片~!
Went to the movies tonight; friends with benefit wasn’t as great as expected; just another Hollywood style movie.
上完跳舞課去看電影，黑人片好長出來剛好接上排第二片的隊伍，又錯過了一個回家週活動，
然後 Friends with Benefit感覺也普普，就只是偷渡很多色情橋段，然後劇情還是一樣的好萊鎢....
Had noodle for night snacks; time to sleep again!
回家吃完麵又想睡了.........囧

A day when all the ones find their soul mates; hope it's a sweet day for everyone!
Didn’t sleep really late last night and I did hear the alarm sound in the morning but I simply slept all the way until noon; maybe I shouldn’t sleep at all on Thursday nights. :P
明明昨天一點半就睡了，今早鬧鐘響也有聽到只是賴床又睡到中午......乾脆以後禮拜四晚上不要睡好了....
With a sensational title “stepping outside the comfort zone of Civil Engineering,” there was actually nothing else but soil mechanics.
Not what I expected at all so I soon left for the free meal; it’s a pizza madness today!
中午準時到講座課報到，只是下了這麼厲害的 標題"踏出土木工程的舒適圈"結果原來是要講土力的東西........
當下有種被騙的感覺....於是東西拿了就去蹭飯了，今天是Pizza吃到飽又發現了隔壁房的妹仔原來只是搬到樓上去，
只是好像已經有人在守城了再加上現在的情勢........還是安分些吧....:S
Studied under the sunshine outside the library for a while then went to the homecoming parade, which was delayed due to a route change.
在圖書館外的陽光下念了一下書，準時去等Homecoming parade再度被證明是一件很白癡的事情....
遊行隊伍得臨時繞道所以遲到.........規劃的人可以去切腹了吧...= =
Continued studying after the parade; should have brought a jacket that can either bring me warmness or at least be a cushion.
結束後再去當陽光下唸書的孩子，下次還是該帶個外套，就算不冷也可以當墊子....
Skipped the homecoming step show, of which I wasn’t a big fan after last year.
晚上再度放棄了回家週活動:類似踢踏舞的秀，因為去年看了沒有特別喜歡....:P
Went basketball playing after finishing the homework; quite a fun game tonight yet I really need to improve my shooting ability.
匆匆把功課搞定後去體育館打球，今天中午遇到的大陸人是個難得願意打全場的，
其他人的實力也相近今晚打得蠻開心的只是換隊後總是差臨門一腳一場都沒贏過有點可惜....三分球很重要....
回家煮飯、視訊、白光，我確定最後一項應該對情況沒什麼幫助...

Slept until noon and missed the invitation to watch football.
Kept sleeping in the afternoon before heading to the lecture, hosted by a civil engineer that brought me lots of ideas; hope I can find an intern before the military training when I go back to Taiwan!
賴床到快中午....四個未接來電，錯過了到別人家看足球的機會...，下午又繼續昏睡，
起床去吃免費的飯廳講座，講座內容還不錯，結束後又留下來再多問一些問題，稍微有了一個不錯的方向，
不過看樣子土木基本功還是要有一些...另外先上網搜尋一下做做功課吧，目標是當兵前可以找到個實習....
Brought my laptop to the library and studied until 1:30 in the morning; that’s quite some achievement for me yet some students from H.K are still styding…..there’s always some role models to follow!
趁著有幹勁，回家拿了筆電到圖書館，雖然混的時間還是比念書的時間多，不過至少有一些進度，果然應該盡量待在圖書館的!!
一點半電腦沒電了就回家，沒想到香港三人組居然還在努力....果然我還差的遠!!

Woke up early and went to the library despite the studying progress went slow.
The dance class is again much more guys than girls so I’ll just find a place to study yet the brightness of my laptop screen is unwilling to adjust to the sunlight outdoors so I went back to the office.
早起前進圖書館，進度依舊是緩慢的進行中，下午前進了體育館結果跳舞班看來仍舊是男>>女那還是繼續找地方念書好了，
找到一個新的戶外念書景點 但是筆電螢幕的亮度很難調所以最後回到研究室，剛好有人在沒被關在門外，
Studied for a while then fell asleep, waking up with the battery of my laptop being dead, I took a time out back home, cooking my own meal while charging the laptop battery.
念了一下書後就睡著了...結果似乎是睡前設定錯誤於是起床發現筆電沒電了.....囧，只好回家但 是效率就很低落，所以快速的煮個晚餐就趕快出門，
My studying effectiveness wasn’t that good as expected in the library, just like the battery life when running a model.
雖然到了圖書館也沒有好到那裡去但至少確定自己不會做奇怪的事.....跑model好耗電阿...

Woke up early and continued the fight with Netlogo, still frustrated yet Matt saved my ass here so I could hand it in before the deadline.
As to the class, just another hour of BS and another tough homework due in two days; I really don’t see the need to attend this class if it’s not a must.
早起繼續跟Netlogo奮戰，只是自己來還是很卡關，好險Matt情義相挺救我，於是在deadline之前好不容易把作業交了出去，
上課就是一連串的屁 然後又丟下禮拜三截止的作業...........我真的覺得有沒有來上課差別不大，反正上完課了作業還是不會寫....= =
Moreover, the professor wrote me an email just to ask me not to use his computers……WTF? Worried about your computers being over-thinking?
更精采的是還特別寄信來叫我不要用他的電腦......你他媽的是怕你的電腦太累是不是? 幹
I sincerely hope this course wouldn’t bother my scheduled graduation this semester nor I truly might do something crazy….!
相較之下另一堂課的進展順利多了，如果最後不能順利畢業我怕我真的會忍不住租台車來撞他....= =
It’s a bit inconvenient to heat things up without a micro waver.
Originally I just planned to listen to some jokes but decided to sign up for the standup comedy.
發現沒有微波爐其實還是有點不方便....，總之吃吃Oreo後就出門去，原本只是想去聽聽笑話結果一時手癢就簽下去了......
So I quickly started writingmy noteswhile enjoying others’ performance.
Despite some presenters seem to leave early with their supporters, I still gained quite some applause; still have a lotto improve.
趕快開始寫筆記，只是前面的人表演完了就帶著應援團跑了....囧，不過結束後還沒走出活動中心就得到五個讚應該是還可以吧.......自己再看一下影片，還是太結巴了... 還是要早點準備才會比較好，發音有待加強....

Overslept in the morning but still handed in the report.
早上回籠結果就遲到了，好險報告應該是交的出來，
Still don’t know how to deal with the homework after having lunch in the office and I started viewing articles on NTU BBS; not really helpful in solving the problems, even if I went back home in between to do laundry and took a shower while charging my laptop.
下午帶飯到研究室加熱，吃完了以後不知怎麼就開始看BBS，於是一整個下午就過了還是不知道作業怎麼做，晚上吃完飯洗好澡&衣服後筆電也充飽了於是再度前進系館，只是還是不知道怎麼做，發覺這樣要寫出功課根本就是不可能的任務....於是又開始打B.....
Arriving back in my room filled with the smell of laundry powder as I didn’t turn the fan off the whole night.
回到家發現剛剛出門前原來是把電扇對著牆壁吹了整晚.....雖然房間裡都是洗衣粉的味道

Overslept so totally gave up the homework.
With another set of code cramming, the teacher ended the last class with “good luck to your projects”…….why not just say go back and fuck yourselves= =?
賴床了一下所以作業就隨喜吧...
上課又是一串無系統的填鴨程式碼教學....然後就祝我們計畫順利!?
怎麼可能順利的起來阿!!!!?

Kept making up for the belated diary on my blog; quite some improvement I’ve made looking back when I was totally fresh on board.
開始補去年剛來美國時的網誌，以前的自己真不是一個蠢字了得....這樣應該算有進步吧...?
Worked pretty hard in the afternoon but then pretty sloppy afterward…..tomorrow will be Thursday, defined as “start of weekend” by me!
下午挺認真的不過傍晚上完課以後就一直混.....明天(禮拜四)開始就是周末了阿!!!! (踹)
But for this annoying professor and his class, I could have started my 18-day thanksgiving break last Wed………….I don’t know where to go for 18 days though as I’ve almost been to everywhere nearby!
回頭再想想，如果不是遇到這機車的老師，我可能上個禮拜三就開始放假了吧.....
不過真有18天的假能去哪我也不知道就是了....看樣子去年是玩太兇了.....
不然就是美東太無聊了(看了看旅遊網站發現我好像真的把能去的地方都去得差不多了....:P)....
看得好累明天還要早起還是先來睡吧...

Another sleepy rainy morning that several students I’m checking skipped the class; wish I could have done the same!
陰雨綿綿的一天...好想賴床.....結果好幾個點名的學生都沒來.....是都在賴床是吧~"~?
Canceled the credit card which I haven’t received after more than two weeks; I really missed the great service in Taiwan…now I only hope I can receive my custom-made Starbucks card before leaving SC.
下午去銀行把還沒收到的信用卡給取消，忘了譙人了，我懷疑他們是故意讓我們等很久來消滅火氣&做出錯誤決定....= =
現在只卑微的希望星巴克卡可以快點來...
Was bothered by the “occupy Wall street” people in the library; totally a wrong place to be in my opinion.
Found it tougher than I thought when it comes to non-tourist part of my diary; glad to see myself improving though.
到圖書館念書結果聽到佔領華爾街抗議....你們被趕出來也不要搞錯地方嘛...
補不是遊記的網誌其實也蠻累的....而且覺得當年的自己真的是好傻好天真(蠢)囧
今天的跳舞課被亂入結果超短超無趣....，回家收拾一下去聽Josh Turner的演唱會，
主唱是可以轉換成超低沉嗓音的葛萊美提名型男，
發現鄉村音樂也蠻high的，感覺像是加上小提琴的Rock & Roll，
最棒的是場地是學校的所以有無線網路那就跟豆豆即時分享一下。
原來Ipod的錄影品質比我的Sony相機還強....可惜錄到一半不能伸縮&鏡頭不夠好....看樣子好手機真的可以取代相機了....!!
The Latin class isn’t so fun today as there’s another teacher coming and introduced another type of dance.
Went to the concert of Josh Turner, a handsome Grammy Nominee that can sing really low in the evening.
So country music sounds like Rock & Roll with violin, still rocks!
Best of all in addition to the high recording ability, I was able to Facetime with Dou and enjoyed the concert together LIVE utilizing the school wifi!
