As I slept really EARLY this morning and there's no signal in my room, I slept until 3pm today, stood Cindy up for a LONG while...........SORRY :(
Anyways I appreciate Haymen for keeping on calling and taking a break from her job to meet me; a chocolate as present!
Cindy took me to upper ring, where they have an escalator that goes up onto the hill; cool!
We had some vendor food, which is also a local feature.
It’s kind of shocking at first to a whole lemon in my sprite and a bowl of noodle that looks totally red due to tomatoes....interesting!
Explored this area after lunch and checked out the temple for the god of tests (yes our god all have specialized fields.....lol) and the memorial of Sun Yeh San, the father of Republic of China, which seemed to be new to Cindy too......:P
Then we walked downhills to the business district and finally found where the doves in Hong Kong are on the way there.
IFC, a combination of shopping malls and office, is the tallest building in Hong Kong.
And I have to say the high-rising skycraspers are really "too much" while it makes the famous and beautiful night view of Hong Kong.
Instead of going to the top of IFC, we took the famous and crowded cable car to the top of the hills in order to enjoy one of the best city view at night in the world.
Cindy broke my fan, which is a souvenir from Yokohama, Japan; well......not every fan is strong enough to do those fancy moves okay.........= =?
The first stop is Madam Tussaud’s.
I didn’t take a picture with Bruce Lee since there are too many people waiting in line.
Jackie Cheng , probably as he might be the most famous actor from Hong Kong, is not open to public for pictures and the wax of Joy Chou is really not like the real person.
The rest of the wax all became the best models (victims) of my pictures.
One important fact: some of the wax are not stable/fixed; try not to kill any of your favorite idol like I almost did.......;p;
Probably being too excited to see so many famous people, my camera started shaking AGAIN....though the 3C products in Hong Kong is cheaper, I’ve already been to Europe, where a good camera would really worth its price.
There’s a hunted house here.
Scary as the scene and ghosts were, the design to have 15 people get in a the same time truly made me felt a little bit bored at the end of the line.
But that’s never a problem for me; I can always amuse myself by scaring the person in front of me..........sorry Cindy......it’s just not your day I guess :P
After taking many interesting pictures and having so much fun in Madam Tussaud’s, now it’s time for the night view, which is AMAZING; the pictures speaks itself....What else can you ask for to be with two beautiful ladies with such amazing view?
It rained cats and dogs after we took the cable car downhills so we jumped on a bus first.
The famous noodle store had already closed so we randomly chose another restaurant and it turned out to be really nice!
And it didn’t rain much before I arrived back at my hotel; lucky!
Gotta sleep now as I’m going to an amusement park tomorrow!
==================
Cindy,
