We go for EASY style this morning; only four people waked up for the breakfast provided by the hotel.
I guess I still don't get well with eating breakfast outside. :P
We went back with some eggs and yoghurts we took from the restaurant for our companies who were still sleeping in the room.
Our new schedule today is to visit 景福宮, a historical palace from ancient Korean dynasty.
There're guards in traditional costumes in front of the palace and we took pictures with them; this makes me think of the similar guarders in British since they both have beards.
As we arrived near noon, we happened to see the guards to change shifts which is quite spectacular.
There's ice everywhere, a good proof for how cold it really is under the sunshine but anyway we just had a really good time here!
The weather is sooooo cold that the lake had totally been frozen!
We couldn't get in the guest house in the middle of the lake since we didn't make a reservation a week ahead.
We also had a free traditional Korean costume experience there.
I think the ancient Korean people must be super strong against coldness since we couldn't help but chill all the time after putting on the beautiful but thin clothes.
青瓦台 is another place we couldn't enter without previous application.
青瓦台 is actually the office of Korean president but the guards were much more friendly than we expected; they took pictures for us!
Our lunch today is 蔘雞湯, one of the most famous Korean food.
It is a small chicken stuffed with food in addition to rice inside.
The pancake is also delicious, let alone the unlimitedly supplied kimchi!
The restaurant we picked is very famous.
It's said that even the president is also its customer.
We truly had a great lunch!
We went to EWHA Womans University in the afternoon.
It's a famous university.
Boys were quite excited to visit a girls' university but soon found it not quite fun since there are only a few girls in campus due to winter vacation.
The only thing interested me is the big building combining shopping center, theater, and classroom.
What's worse, stores inside are mostly for their major customers- women rather than men. :(
Girls went to Rosa's dorm and boys were bored to death in this beautiful campus.
The streets near by serve goods mainly for girls as well without too much surprise.
Whlie these romantic coffee shops may be Holy Land for Korean drama addicts, I felt glad that I'm not a student in girl's university for the first time in my life. :P
We had dinner in 新村, which is also near from Ehwa woman's university but is famous for eating and drinking.
Our dinner today is another famous traditional Korean food, rice in stone bowls.
Tonight some TSA members joined our dinner, mainly to meet Mandy, I guess. :P
But anyway it's really a crowd of people!
We went drinking near by after supper; time to experience Korean drinking culture and its beer games~!
I'm glad that both ALC and TSA people are so nice and warm that they soon get along with each other quite very well!
We drank to our hearts' content; you can see how red my face became. :P
It's really nice to meet these precious friends!!
