So it's comming to the last few days of this program.

And we are going to Yosemite National Park to enjoy three relaxing days before the final day of this program.

8/23
In the morning we put our luggage onto the buses and said goodbye to Stanford, Alondra and Miliro, our dorms (I think that I should have took a picture of my room, despite I didn't spend much time in it with my roomate, I did put my luggage in it for a month!)

And one sad thing here is that we also had to say goodbye to Jem since she's not going to Yosemite and won't show up in the final day either.

So Gem and her group certainly had a hard time here- it's always hard to say goodbye.

Actually I like Gem a lot and really feel sad to say goodbye, but I decided to leave the time to her group.

I can write what I want to say to her in a card later, which I found that I just misspelled her name......woops

And when our buses were leaving, I saw Jem crying outside the dorm, which is really a sad scene.

But our trip continued anyway, and everyone just fell asleep on the bus, including me,despite the television on the bus were performing the movie 21, which is actually a nice movie but I watched it before this program so I fell asleep anyway.

So we left Stanford @ about ten o'clock in the morning and we took a break once at a rest stop, which is actually kind of nice since it's not full of people, not like the rest stops in Taiwan at all which is often crowded and dirty.

We also had lunch during the way, which is actually quite near to Yosemite National Park.

And I chose to have Burger King since I didn't try it here in the states yet.

Basically it's still expensive compared to Taiwan, but here's America, so.... it's cheap!

After lunch, our buses entered Yosemite National Park.

On the way of course there were beautiful scenes.

However, there was a landslide damaging the road to get in Yosemite, which they prepared movable bridges to link to another roads parallel to the origiinal one- A smart design, I think-well prepared.

We arrived curry village, which is the place we're going to live for the next coming three nights.

We lived in houses with wooden floor and stairs but the walls were tent like.

After putting the luggage, I went to the theater, which is the central court of Curry village, to see the performance on the stage.

Basically it's for kids, however, it's kind of sad to find that my English listening ability and vocabulary, said to be better than others in Taiwan is simply far from enough here.

An the performance were carried out by two people who kept changing cloths and sometimes invited audience up to the stage to join the performance.

And it's mainly about the history of Yosemite National Park, which really made me know more about this place even if I had been to here ten years ago.

After the show, I found some other ALC1 participants to share the pizza, which may be the cheapest thing here in Yosemite- big, dizzy, and full of fat!

And I also had icecream here after I tasted some from others- we share food quite often in this program.

It's like the relationship of really good friend or even family, which is something I really like.

And despite the icecream is also kind of expensive, I still had a lot- I can't and I don't want to reject them!!

And we went star gazing at the meadow tonight.

Lying under such a sky full of stars is really an enjoyment.

And despite the peak of meteor shower already ended one week ago, we still spotted many shooting stars here since the sky is just so dark without light disturbance.

I spotted about five shooting stars tonight, but missed several as well.

However, there's not a big difference among us.

Since when a shooting star appeared, people divided into two groups;

One shouted that "oh~ or wow", having not enough time to make a wish before the shooting star vanished.

While the other are "shooting group", who said "shoot, where is the shooting star??" since that the sky is so big that we could only watch part of the it.

After it's getting colder and colder, we decided to go back to the tents.

Since both of my model roomates (Japanese model Toshiya and Korean model Minchan) will go climbing half dome tomorrow, which is a symbol of this national park and also the mark of a famous brand the north face, they both slept very early today since they have to wake up and get ready @ four o'clock in the morning the next day, I went to other people's room to do some chatting for fear that I might bother my roommates.
