Because there's not enough people, our plan to play kickball in the afternoon was canceld...

Instead, we went to the shopping center again.

I finished the trip of exploring the shopping center this time.

Really not my type of shopping place, things there are really expensive!!

However, Starbucks here is really good- big, cheap, delicious,

I get a free Starbucks card for free- much prettier than the ones that cost about two dollars in Taiwan.

It's really sad that I can't use it in Taiwan.

and other stores here just can't interested me....

After coming back from shopping center, it's panel time.

The topic this week is about LGBT issues- Lasbians, Gay, Biosexsual, Transgender.

And they invited four LGBT people here to share their experience

Really a special experience.

I admire their courage to speak it out, admit and fight for their difference.

But I like more that people here accept difference!!

After the pannel, we went to Dwight's house

ok!!

Finally did I see a real house of a American citizen- a rich one, though.

However, it's not the kind of house with a garden and grass~

Here is Pala alto, just like Xinyi district in Taiwan~!!

Houses here are very very expensive!!

And tonight we talked about culture stereotype.

Stereotype like

"what!? sakura is not the flower of Japan??"

"Japanese girls are good at tolerating" [it makes me more interested in Japanese girls =ˇ=]

really brought us so much fun and made us know more about the other two countries right around our own land.

However, when it came to Taiwan, I was so surprised on how much Taiwan is being pressed by China.

People here come from the top university of their own countries~!

And "no one" knew the difference of China and Taiwan(R.O.C)

Some even never heard of Taiwan.

So I tried very hard to explain the difference to them.

I started from the history almost a hundred year ago, when China were still in Xin dynasty- the last dynasty of Chinese's 5000 year dynasty history.

And I talked about important things that had happened during the ten decades.

It's the first time I feel that studying history is useful....

Basically the rest of the time in Dwight was my speech introducing the relationship between the two countries across the strait.

After coming back from Dwight's place, I sat on the couch and went between msn chatting and sleeping.

It's something like " sorry, I just fell asleep for one or two hours : ) "

I was waken by a nightmare that somehow my pet bird became water....= =+ [It's still fine anyway.]

But due to the strange dream, I was able to get up and finish my homework!

And I discovered the high tech in the dormitory lounge:

The light in the lounge would automatically turn off and light up again if someone walk through

Ok, finally did I see the American saving power in addition to the eletri-gasoline vehicles.
