Taking off from LAX at midnight, transfer at DFW in the early morning and arrived @ Charlotte safely.
飛回夏洛特一切順利
Again took the shuttle back to Columbia; Cocky says welcome back I believe!
I decided to move out from Carolina garden and move in to Cliff, also school housing for graduate students but even closer to the center of the campus.
So the checking in process was also smooth except that there’s no furniture at all; that is something I didn’t expect....
本學期搬到Cliff，Check in 也都沒問題............除了房間裡面什麼都沒有以外!!
說好的家具勒!!!?
So I quickly went to Lofts, a nearby dormitory where Alan stays in and we picked up some furnitures from the hallway there......I like it free!
A great thank to Alan and Joe’s support helping me moving the furnitures!
趕忙到Lofts撿張床墊，感謝Alan與Joe的強力支援
So Podar from India will be my roommate this semester.
Speaking of India, curry is one of the most famous food from there and my roommate turns out to be pretty much a good cook as well; seems like I’m be able to enjoy the genuine Indian style food!
有地方睡了以後發現印度室友煮起咖哩飯來了，那就讓他順便也嘗嘗台灣來的阿舍乾麵!
咖哩的味道不錯......看樣子以後有口福了 :P

Slept until the afternoon and went to Jason’s place to help him move; I’m not the only one moving to a new location yet definitely the one with least furniture- almost nothing actually.
結果不意外的睡到三點才起床
被Call out去搬家，美國人真的都要租U-haul來搬家就對了....有$真好
Went to a bar and ordered 50 chicken wings for six people; who said Chinese can’t do this? :P
晚餐去吃雞翅，六個人50隻，我們比黑人還愛吃雞!! :P
Then I went to Alan’s place to watch an MLB game and cheered up for CM WANG 40; a great game he made!
之後到Alan家去幫王哥哥加油，幹得不錯是個勝投，
Went swimming at the new gym before heading back home.

I slept at four in the morning, did set the alarm time, just didn’t turn it on though...so I woke up around noon, just in time for free pizza @ thinking globally section!
所以似乎睡前調了鬧鐘但忘了按開關?
總之快中午醒來趕快衝去Thinking Globally 吃Pizza
Tried to find a part time opportunity but in vain; luckily no loss at all since calling through google voice is totally free; what a service!
起來用Google Voice打個電話.........Damn......沒有工讀機會了....:(
不過發現了打免錢電話的方法還是挺好的
Went basketball playing tonight but played poorly, probably due to the lack of practice recently.
接下來出門去打球，太久沒打了籃下一直放槍很糟糕，得再多練練，

Slept until noon again, went to HIS for free lunch still.
結果又賴床睡到快中午，趕忙出門去HIS蹭飯。
Return to the Latin dance class as well this semester after nap; the teacher had a really different haircut this semester.
下午去辦些事情後回家睡午覺，好久不見的跳舞課，老師髮型的轉變也太大...
Then I went to the welcome party for EPI students.......well I happen to live in the nearby building you know......How can one say no to the free pizza and drinks?
接下來去亂入EPI迎新，有妹有pizza有飲料，
The “game” prepared by EPI, on the contrary, is far from fun so we went to the game room next door and played pool, table tennis and foosball.......the skill can still be seen even with poor equipments so let me just find someone tap tap!
只是所謂的"遊戲"實在令人有點傻眼........於是我們到隔壁的遊戲間用破爛的設備打撞球、桌球&手足球...........還是找人玩Tap Tap卡實在，

Work on my pictures sorting and took a nap before I went basketball play.
整理了一下照片，傍晚又來睡個午覺，
Originally I only planned to work out a little bit but I had some really nice companion tonight so I played all the way until 11pm, when the 100 free bags had all been claimed already; the food and gifts of Carolina after dark this time isn’t that attractive so I went back sleeping soon after checking some of the games.
晚上去打個球，原本打算打一下就好結果遇到不錯的球友就一路打到10點半才去洗澡，之後去南卡之夜，沒拿到前一百名的袋子，食物&東西有點弱....意思意思玩一下大型機台就閃回家準備睡覺。

We utilized the Hertz on demand service and booked a Ford Escape to go to Walmart and Korean store in the afternoon.
下午混一下突然接到出團指令，趕快上網預約一下就開著滿載的Escape出發嚕，韓國店買一買再去個Walmart，兩個半小時的時間完美運用，
Despite we bought lots of things from Walmart, no meal is easier than a free one!
回來把菜放好就馬上出發蹭飯去，飯不錯吃，
There’s a free soccer game tonight right across the street so we went check it out.
The game was tied and simply ended without a PK time…..:S
蹭完飯就跑去看免費足球，還不錯看只是最後居然是和平的平手收場，絕死罰球PK賽呢!!?
The movie tonight is Scream 4; not so bad.
之後再去看學校的免費電影，驚聲尖叫四不錯看，

Woke up merely 20 minutes later after the alarm clock set;
賴床20分後起床，算是有進步吧......
Originally we planned to get alcohol for the party tonight but alcohol can’t be purchased on Sundays due to the SC state law…..:S
Prepared for the potluck before heading to the other movie this week “Rango,” not so bad yet I had a really good time…..
下午原本想去買個酒，不過南卡這鄉下地方是有禮拜天不能買酒這種規矩的........敗興而歸@@，切切芹菜準備晚上POT LUCK後妹來敲房門那就去看電影，Rango實在是沒什麼新意的動畫片..........Anyways.......醉翁之意不在酒所以我想醉酒之翁也不會在意.....桃花是種都沒有很糟糕，但一次全部一起來也很令人煩惱的東西........lol
Martin, the EPI student that’s about to go back to Taiwan served us with pasta, pretty delicious.
The potluck is pretty successful I’ll say; feels a little bit similar to the ALC time back in Stanford.
Well back to reality, classes are starting from tomorrow!
晚上即將離開的Martin煮了義大利麵，醬有點稀但還不錯，大陸人瘋狂的為吃Haggen Daz強說愁還順便把我的芹菜吃掉了很多，不過跟瘋狂亂混食物的哥國人還算可愛，總之玩得開心就好，有種回到ALC的錯覺真好。可惜明天就要開學了，趕快準備來睡嚕~

Barely in time for the first class; thanks to the school shuttle bus!
小賴床一下算是有準時出門，還有搭上車真是Lucky，
My professor’s class was still boring like always; he really shouldn’t arrange his class on Monday morning since it easily ruin the great mood from weekend and turn it into a Monday blue…….
只是老師的課非得這麼的無趣....又在禮拜一早上....真的是抹煞周末愉快心情的好手......
Originally there was said to be a new graduate student from Taiwan but she didn’t show up……good for her probably? :P
看樣子有個台灣女被我嚇跑了....少了個"學妹"，
再加上了電子配備後老師的字跡變的更加的不可辨識了...........miserable....= =
With the new electronic devices, the writing is now even harder to recognize….what a torture..
Receiving a mail from apple saying they finally locked my iPod after losing it for 2 months…..WTF!?
睡了個小午覺Mobile me表示在過了兩個月後它終於把我的IPOD鎖起來了........哪招阿.
There were lots of people lining outside of MOE’s; Monday style as always but it turned out that they have the new Coca Cola machine that's exactly the same as the one I saw in Coca Cola world Atlanta!
I just can't say no to my favorite grape soda!
在排隊超久後看到了MOE’s的新武器.........居然是疑似來自可口可樂世界的飲料機.....居然有我最喜歡的葡萄芬達...厲害!!
There are also some other Taiwanese students here but we didn't chat at all; I wonder if the gap between doctoral students and undergraduate students is really that wide and deep.
只是明明都是台灣人，也就坐在隔壁桌居然可以從頭到尾一句話都不說...........研究生真有這麼高尚? 有時候還真不喜歡小鼻子小眼睛的人.........:(
Went to Luke’s place and moved my desk and closet back with the help of Joe and his truck; I wonder where my pots and spoons had gone though.....
晚上去把書桌&櫃子搬回來，是說鍋子們都去哪了呢......:S
Got my furnitures settled down and had a night snack; three o’clock again!
回家整理一下房間再吃個宵夜又快三點了，趕緊來睡@@"

Slept until almost noon........8 hrs seems to be my minimum sleeping time.
賴床到快11點才起床，看樣子睡八個小時是一定要的....lol
Did a laundry when the sun shines.
洗衣服拿被子去Garden曬，曬衣果然要用電扇!!
I brought the rice noodle from Taiwan while I don’t really know how to cook it; luckily Lily does!

Went to the movies and.................I think I really should move to Cliff earlier....:S
混了一下去看電影....或許該早點來Cliff住的 :S

Went to class immediately after waking up.
差點睡過頭，趕快跑去上課
Got an AE water battle on the back from HIS free lunch.
中午去HIS蹭飯，路上還得到了一個AE水瓶，
The class in the afternoon passed soon after taking a nap at home in advance.
回家睡個午覺，下午的課也很快就過了
There’s a war game experience section tonight; pretty fun but definitely need more people to join the game!
傍晚去打個海綿彈相當好玩，只是人不夠多不夠HIGH
Well, it’s also annoying when there are too many people....especially when I finally got some people from Cliff....
回家煮個麵找好更多人後再次出發，只是人就變得有點多要排隊
Definitely a great game to play; especially when it’s FREE :v
最後一場當Goaler順利得分結束比賽是個完美結局

Sleep until noon unsurprisingly, went to HIS for free lunch, with an extra loaf of bread today; how nice!

Had Starbucks first before picking up my baggage at the post office.
Just seeing a yellow line bus leaving, I took the blue line which goes all around the campus before arriving my destination.
喝完星巴克，到郵局拿包裹錯過了黃線只好坐藍線逛一下校園再回家。
Took a nap before going to the Latin dance; I was a bit late but I’m pretty sure they are gonna like the just-arrived Taiwanese snacks!
小睡一下出門跳跳舞，雖然遲到但是整個場面我HOLD住，希望老師喜歡鳳梨酥&老婆餅:)
Went to the movie “Arthur,” British tone is killing me like it did in London.
下課後去看Arthur，英國腔好難懂....，
After gathering more people, tonight’s special is “Fast and Furious 5” with free cola and popcorn; the perfect companion for an entertaining movie; the only problems would be my poor English and the yelling of some kids.....that is annoying!
回宿舍糾好團帶上蛋黃酥衝一發玩命關頭五，配上可樂爆米花有夠爽，只是美國人很吵很擋畫面很煩，不過爽片一堆聽不懂得字害我笑不太出來有點囧，
Felt tired a bit earlier today; time to test my new lenses!

Arriving back at Cliff, there’s drinking party going on upstairs........well I think I’ll just stay low.
樓上喝酒趴好high....我還是別輕易嘗試
Jarod was drunk as well and we chatted a lot.............will he has a life before as well!
喝醉的Jerod打開話匣子....囧......是厲害人物..
Played iPad until 5 in the morning.......yep that’s a bit crazy I know.

Though there’s a hurricane hitting East coast but we have a great sunny morning here; okay....I do recognize we are at South now.

Went to the farmer’s market, tried some food that tastes really bad.....actually only the icecream is acceptable.
於是出門去農夫市集逛逛，脫水咖哩丸子是個雷...不過冰淇淋很好吃

晚上是台灣學生會迎新派對，今年的台灣新生好多，有幾個美女，質量確實有上升，連食物都感覺變好吃了呢~! 還馬上開始了亂點鴛鴦譜.....這是大學迎新是吧...XD

回家拿書前進圖書館，這好像是我第一次認真在圖書館念書，效率還不錯，可惜只持續不到兩小時就沒力了....回家又是一輪猛宅..轉眼間又快四點了.....囧...Cliff應該要有個圖書館的!!

早上上完課回家把最後該聯絡的都聯絡好，行李收一收準備出門嚕！
Missed the shuttle so rushed all the way to greyhound station by working; I’m glad I packed light this time.
因為還教科書結果錯過了shuttle，只好走路去灰狗車站••••••••••••好險不是太遠&行李不太重，不過還是滿身大汗，
The bus was delayed, making me upset for the sweating effort I made....
最機車的應該是車子居然慢分••••••••••••剛剛這麼努力是為了什麼阿••••••••••••囧
Slept all the way to Charlotte even though the one in front of me kept talking loud.
上車後雖然前面的老頭一直大聲講話很吵但還是阻止不了我一路睡到夏洛特！
Went to the restaurant as planned; I’m pretty familiar with downtown Charlotte now.
好像在不知不覺間變的跟夏洛特downtown很熟••••••••••••
Got on an on-time and fully-equipped Megasbus tonight; the net speed is pretty nice but I slept early since there’ll be some driving to do tomorrow!
今晚的Megabus又準時又配備完整一整個爽，雖然網速不錯但明天要開車還是早點來睡！

Sleep until noon unsurprisingly, went to HIS for free lunch, with an extra loaf of bread today; how nice!
不意外的睡到中午....去HIS蹭個飯還有麵包拿HOW NICE!
Had Starbucks first before picking up my baggage at the post office.
Just seeing a yellow line bus leaving, I took the blue line which goes all around the campus before arriving my destination.
喝完星巴克，到郵局拿包裹錯過了黃線只好坐藍線逛一下校園再回家。
Took a nap before going to the Latin dance; I was a bit late but I’m pretty sure they are gonna like the just-arrived Taiwanese snacks!
小睡一下出門跳跳舞，雖然遲到但是整個場面我HOLD住，希望老師喜歡鳳梨酥&老婆餅:)
Went to the movie “Arthur,” British tone is killing me like it did in London.
下課後去看Arthur，英國腔好難懂....，
After gathering more people, tonight’s special is “Fast and Furious 5” with free cola and popcorn; the perfect companion for an entertaining movie; the only problems would be my poor English and the yelling of some kids.....that is annoying!
回宿舍糾好團帶上蛋黃酥衝一發玩命關頭五，配上可樂爆米花有夠爽，只是美國人很吵很擋畫面很煩，不過爽片一堆聽不懂得字害我笑不太出來有點囧，
Felt tired a bit earlier today; time to test my new lenses!
今天還沒兩點就好累，快來測試新鏡片&睡覺吧:P

Slept until noon and went signing up for the class.
賴床到中午，出門去簽到一下
There’s big free meal tonight that many people joined; Paddar, my roommate was truly lucky to win the coupon for a trip to Orlando.
晚上去蹭飯，看到了一些台灣新生，室友抽中超級折價卷...厲害
Arriving back at Cliff, there’s drinking party going on upstairs........well I think I’ll just stay low.
樓上喝酒趴好high....我還是別輕易嘗試
Jarod was drunk as well and we chatted a lot.............will he has a life before as well!
喝醉的Jerod打開話匣子....囧......是厲害人物..
Played iPad until 5 in the morning.......yep that’s a bit crazy I know.
殺恐龍+TAP TAP到早上五點才睡.....有點Crazy我知道

Nothing is more painful than the going off fire alarm at 8 in the morning on a Saturday morning, especially when I went to bed like merely 3 hours ago.....
禮拜六早上八點的火災警報.........算你狠= =
Though there’s a hurricane hitting East coast but we have a great sunny morning here; okay....I do recognize we are at South now.
雖然颱風要HIT東岸不過這邊是大晴天.....好吧我們果然是南方...
Went to the farmer’s market, tried some food that tastes really bad.....actually only the icecream is acceptable.
於是出門去農夫市集逛逛，脫水咖哩丸子是個雷...不過冰淇淋很好吃
It’s the welcome party for Taiwanese students tonight; cute girls, food and games; what else can one ask for?
晚上是台灣學生會迎新派對，今年的台灣新生好多，有幾個美女，質量確實有上升，連食物都感覺變好吃了呢~! 還馬上開始了亂點鴛鴦譜.....這是大學迎新是吧...XD

Gave Martin a ride to the airport then everyone went back home to sleep.
送Martin到機場，回來後大家都覺得很累所以各自回房睡覺
I devoted the rest of the day to my iPad....
一整天都沒精神.....瘋狂打混......玩個塔防宅一下又弄到三點.......雖然功課還沒寫不過還是快去睡吧...

There should have been a studying room in Cliff....
回家拿書前進圖書館，這好像是我第一次認真在圖書館念書，效率還不錯，可惜只持續不到兩小時就沒力了....回家又是一輪猛宅..轉眼間又快四點了.....囧...Cliff應該要有個圖書館的!!

Got things ready and packed up my luggage; time to start my journey!
早上上完課回家把最後該聯絡的都聯絡好，行李收一收準備出門嚕！
Missed the shuttle so rushed all the way to greyhound station by working; I’m glad I packed light this time.
因為還教科書結果錯過了shuttle，只好走路去灰狗車站••••••••••••好險不是太遠&行李不太重，不過還是滿身大汗，
The bus was delayed, making me upset for the sweating effort I made....
最機車的應該是車子居然慢分••••••••••••剛剛這麼努力是為了什麼阿••••••••••••囧
Slept all the way to Charlotte even though the one in front of me kept talking loud.
上車後雖然前面的老頭一直大聲講話很吵但還是阻止不了我一路睡到夏洛特！
Went to the restaurant as planned; I’m pretty familiar with downtown Charlotte now.
好像在不知不覺間變的跟夏洛特downtown很熟••••••••••••
Got on an on-time and fully-equipped Megasbus tonight; the net speed is pretty nice but I slept early since there’ll be some driving to do tomorrow!
今晚的Megabus又準時又配備完整一整個爽，雖然網速不錯但明天要開車還是早點來睡！
