Someone came into the room and started snoring at about 3 o’clock in the morning.....that is more than annoying and hence made me oversleep the next morning.

I successfully borrow a laptop from another Taiwanese traveler and was finally able to move the videos last night into my hard drive.

Then I rushed to university of Toronto, where Connie, who I acquainted last summer in Germany, decided to show me her college before heading India TONIGHT!

The only problem is....I couldn't find the public phone...I mean...who would have found one that's inside a department building....!?

Although we weren't able to have lunch together due to the little tragedy above, a local student like Connie is no doubt the best guide one could ever get for campus tour.

After getting a maple sugar ice cream at little Italy, I walked all the way up to the hills for the castle Casa Loma.

Despite neither the history nor size can be compared with the ones in europe, the pretty outlook of this beautiful castle somewhat washed away my fatigue exploring the city on foot today.

Somewhat, cuz the encouraging effect didn't last long as walking all the way from Casa Loma to CN tower is like crossing the city from north to south!

After exhausting my energy abusing my feet again, a new problem arose: the long sun light hours in summer which used to be the best friend for travelers now becomes problematic as all tall buildings are considered the best spot for enjoying the night view, let alone there's an NBA game going on later!

What's worse, CN tower does look better with the light decoration at night but the light and the safety net turned into a total disaster that kills the possibility for enjoying the night view.

The transparent glass-made floor isn't that astonishing and the design of tourist routes is awful that I waited so long just to get in the elevator that goes down; considering the $32 Canadian dollar I spent for entrance fee, CN tower is now ranking the last on my skyscraper experiencing list!

I rushed in the Boston pizza restaurant right across the street for the basketball game tonight, surprising to notice more Maverick than Heat fans inside as well as the daily special menu.

With the barely victory of the Mavericks, this is how a nice game night should be!

But that isn't the last amazing thing happening tonight yet: I met the person who lent me his laptop this morning, talking to a girl I knew through the Internet and met long time ago back in Taiwan!

Now that is when the world suddenly seems smaller than how we used to believe!

As three makes a party, we went to a nearby bar chatting and it turns out they are both doing working holiday now in Canada!

It's almost two o'clock in the morning after we walked her home then back to our hostel but the Taiwan-Japanese couple were still chatting outside.....hmm......I guess I should just go to bed!!

Connie,
