Live loose, don't lose!

2009 passed much faster than I had expected, probably because I spent most of my time studying, trying to make up for my poor academic performance in the past years.

However, like every "hard-working" student always does, I did have lots of extracurricular activities.

After joining International Business camp, I tried two business competition held by famous enterprises, Loreal and Lexus.

Though we didn't win the prize, I did acquire some knowledge of business.

I also joined the 3D computer diagraming competition, which we made it to the finals but didn't win the prize either.

But this time I truly doubted the criterion of judges.....

Anyway, there are also some triumph I achieved.

I got second place in an English presentation and composition competition.

That's quite a glorious moment. :)

Lots of foreign friends I acquainted in 2008ALC1 visited Taiwan in 2009.

I think Taipei 101 should give us a VIP pass.

Also thanks to ALC program, I went to several different restaurants with ALC people.

It's truly amazing like Dwight said about the friendship between us.

What's more, I wrote and received lots of postcards this year.

It's always encouraging receiving greetings from friends.

2009 is also a year filled with first time experiences.

My first time watching concerts and operas in Taiwan.

Yanzi, Mayday, The phantom of the opera and Carmen brought me fabulous visual and auditory enjoyment.

I experienced dormitory life in the second semester even though my home is quite near school.

Dormitory life is much more fun than I had expected. :P

Also, I rejoined the alumni of graduates from SSSH in NTU.

I had lots of fun with those young guys and had some beautiful memories.

The summer of 2009 is about the beautiful beach and surfing!

I had my first, second, third and fourth surfing try out in 2009.

After hosting TSA foreign students from Korea and Japan, I had a 15 day Tokyo trip.

During these two activities I got acquainted with more Japanese and Korean friends.

Days are pretty frustrated at the last couple of weeks of 2009.

My application of graduate school and exchange student in NTU got rejected.

2009, a year of new experience and money spending.
