09.07 Day2
We started today with a brunch today at Tsukichi, where the biggest fish market in Tokyo locates and is actually not far from where we live.
We dined in a nice restaurant, which is still expensive (I haven't got used to the food price in Tokyo)
But the food is really nice and I have my "first" sashimi experience here!!
Some of them are really not bad, though it's still strange for me to put raw fish into my mouth :P
Then we walked to Ginza, which is also a place I had heard before.
But actually I only heard of its name, not really knew what this area is famous for.
So this place is full of stores and fancy-looking department stores.
But it's really so hot today that we can barely walk under the burning sun.
A good way to use the department stores when waiting for green lights :P
We went to Kabuki house to see Kabuki, which is the traditional Japanese drama.
But it's really too hard to understand so I couldn't help but fell aslept. :P
Toshiya met us outside the Kabuki house.
He's super stylish, no wonder he can be model.... maybe it's the new trend in the future!!
Then we went to 皇居, the place where the emperor of Japan lives.
It's a super big part.
It's like a big forest at the center of the city.
Of course we took lots of pictures here.
And this one is my favorite one-2008ALC1; can you tell who the shadow belongs? :P
Then we said goodbye to Toshiya, who will leave Japan within a week to London to study!
Actually Steve will, too.
Our dinner tonight is a shabu-shabu restaurant right next to Eriko's place.
It's not my first time eating shabu-shabu, but it is the first time to have one in Japan,
There's nothing wrong with the restaurant.
It's just I didn't mentioned that Eriko lives very near to Tokyo Tower, so is this restaurant.
Therefore, it's also super expensive.
But it does worth the price; it's sooooooo delicious!!!
James joined us here; he took the subway on his own.
How good he is on the condition that I left him the wrong number so he couldn't reach us!!
So we had a great meal and paid a great bill- a total more than sixty thousand Japanese yen!!
Since I didn't bring enough money, I collected money from everyone and paid by credit card- not mine but my moms :P
Then we went to Eriko's place, where Manammi showed up for a while but left early to pack- she's going exchange student to UC!
So many ALCers are going abroad this year!!
Good luck to them!!
Then we went to 六本木, a popular and expensive place for night life.
There's a tall building here called 六本木 hill, the view is said to be gorgeous up there.
Some strange people came and invited us to see something special.
This is also something I have heard before but we're not in
But we're not going up tonight; instead, we just went to a lounge bar under it.
The drink is a little bit more expensive than those in Taiwan.
But compared to eating here, it's much cheaper :)
We had lots of fun playing Korean beer games I learned during TSA.
Thanks, Korean~!
It's really a good game to play when there are two different genders :P
But we were scolded for being too noisy......hmm....it's unbelievable ......not Japanese style, I guess.
Then we returned to Eriko's place since it's too late to utilize the mass transit system.
It was a super big and luxurious place!
Eriko is super rich!!!
We played some games to keep ourselves awake, though it's pretty hard :P
We took the first train back at five o'clock in the morning the next day.
It's so shocking there are other people in the station as well, though we all look like walking zombies :P
I quickly fell aslept after taking a bath and.........use my computer, it's more than a day I'm away from internet!!
