Ninth week of summer vacation 2009－Live loose, don't lose!

Some TAC members went to Karaoke today to have some fun.

It's actually my first time going to Karaoke this summer, there are simply so many things to do :(

And I knew from the news that the damage caused by the typhoon at southern Taiwan is actually much more serious than I thought.

So I proposed that 2008ALC1 can donate our NTD. 3000 prize from the exhibition of exchange student last year and everyone agrees!

We are really nice people :)

There's a training course for CAD competition this week, though I didn't really pay much attention to it :P

I'm really not a graphic guy :(

But there's something else that is fun this week!

It's that Jem, host during ALC program last year, visits Taiwan this week!

Though I'm sort of busy this week, I still found some time to play with ALC people!

Jem's first day happens to be Junto's last day in Taiwan.

Junto came for a business competition, in which he won the championship again. Congratulations!

We went to the city Art museum to see the Pixar animation exhibition.

It contains lots of Pixar animation movies, which again reminds me how old I had become :(

But it also brought me back to childhood through those cartoons.

Then we went back to have some Taiwanese traditional dessert near NTU before supper.

There's also a small gathering together among five boys who rode their motorcycles around Taiwan last summer in Thursday this week.

But I didn't feel so well so I didin't take any picture.

I felt sleepy because I woke up before six this morning to get on a bus ride since my dad parked his car far on the mountain which takes almost two hours to get there.

Since I got a tight schedule today while I want to take Jem to surfing at eastern Taiwan, I have to get the car back today.

So Jem, Ed and his friend and I went to Yilan the next morning to do the surfing.

Though Jem's always "almost" close to a successful surfing, which means standing on the surfing board without falling into the water, we found another way to enjoy the wave.

We swam so far from the shore that the lifeguard even came and ask if we need some help :P

It's really a thirlling but exciting experience!!

We had lots of fun but I forgot to bring the waterproof bag for my camera so I didn't take any picture at the beach.

Then we drove back home, it's really convenient driving through the longest tunnel in Taiwan, it takes only one and half an hour from NTU to Yilan!!

Our plan to dine at my placed were canceled since there are really too many people while I didn't tell my mom until evening so we went to the eating plaza under a bookstore, which almost become a must in our TLC program for ALC people :P

A trip to Taipei is not completed without visiting Taipei 101, the tallest building in Taiwan!

It's not a good deal to get onto the top of this building since we our late arrival.

But we did take lots of pictures with it :) as ALC custom, picture time :P

And the main program tonight is to go drinking!!

Some girls who often skip this part before joined us this time and we really lots of fun drinking!!

It's really exciting to play beer games and we really enjoy ourselves that both James and I were drunk.

It's my first time to drink so much, luckily I didn't do any crazy things like James :P
