Live loose, don't lose!

Though there had been several times of "change of summer plan:"

From doing summer intern in Singapore to realizing my not being able to visit Tokyo before heading to the states due to the early start of fall semester in University South Carolina, finally I applied for joining summer school in Ulm, Germany.

It would take some time to explain, especially the eruption of volcano in Iceland, military and VISA problems, which made me change my original plan on heading to the states from Europe.

Anyways, though there's still a month before summer vacation starts in Taiwan, my flight to Europe will depart tonight while I still need to take the final of Engineering Mathmatics.......hmm.......there's a hard way but there's always an easy way as well :P

Giving the key of my motorcycle to my small sibling; please take care of my bike :S

Leaving Taiwan at night, almost left my laptop in the departure lounge.......luckily I didn't = =

雖然中途經歷許多小插曲

(原訂暑假計畫一再更改:

從去年打算的新加坡暑期實習到肖想參加TSA2010到後來申請上參加德國暑期班，中間可謂是一波三折，光機票要怎麼訂就出現過好多種想法呢！

總之結果就是雖然離台灣學期結束還有一個月不過我要我要出國啦!!

話是這麼說...........但即使晚上就要出國了，早上還得考萬惡的工數，好險有兩大奧援；感謝，感謝

把機車交代給學弟

要離開台灣去探險嚕!




===========Arriving in Europe; 抵達歐洲============

The flight to Hong Kong is much shorter than I expected, so short that the air attendant didn't bring my drink even after we landed = =

After landing, I quickly made another stupid thing: I forgot putting my cellphone in my bag so I went through the Custom twice that I ran my best and just in time to catch the last call of my plane to London; Of course I had no time to see around this airport but I can visit again when I come back from Europe so lucky me tonight!



But I made another terrible mistake on booking the window seat rather than the aisle one since I thought there would be a good view from sky.


And indeed there was but compared with the comfortable seats in the front of the plane, I feel like jumping off from the window when we were at Siberia...........maybe there's something calling for me......? :P

After 16 hours of flight, I landed in London-Hello, Europe!

The German girl sitting next to me during the long flight is really nice; but for her credit card being dysfunctional, we could have played around London together.

Well..........good luck to her anyway. @@

It's colder than I expected and the British accent is a little bit hard to understand.


The subway system in London is called "TUBE," which looks exactly like what it's called.

The hostel I booked is called "Waterloo," and it's right next to the Waterloo train station, which is really convenient but meanwhile annoying due to the passing trains.

After puttiing my luggages away and using the internet to report my safe arrival, now it's time to explore London.

It's the first day so I started with walking around the city.


The first stop is museum of London, which is really nice and most importantly, free!

Compared with that, St. Paul's Cathedral, the nearby tourist spot is really expensive.


So I skipped it and kept on walking on the street.


The famous London tower bridge is really easy to find.



The two sides of the bridge showed a strong contrast: one side is the city hall and modern bulidings while the other side is the famous old buildings, London Tower.


London Tower is much bigger than I expected; in addition to the castle itself, there are lots of exhibition inside, making the entrance fee totally worthwhile.



After returning to the hostel, I quickly fell asleep even though it's only 7 pm since I was really tired due to the rush visit of London Tower in order to see everything before it closed.

在中正差點忘了拿筆電；在香港自以為手機不見過兩次海關差點來不及上飛機；為什麼在西伯利亞有想要跳機的衝動!?(爆)

很Nice的德國女但是你的卡不能刷我也沒辦法...(歐洲行的開頭看來很不錯)；倫敦有點冷+不習慣英國腔；原來Tube真的長得像Tube；

來到了會有火車從窗外開過的民宿；放下行李上上網；前進倫敦博物館(免錢又好看 只是有一區還沒開)；過而不入的聖保羅教堂；倫敦塔橋真的很好找；

對面的市政廳跟這些舊建築好像不太搭；倫敦塔是個大競走 回去才七點就睡死了:S
